Lumberjack Needs Some Trees To Cut Down Again...

i'm only doing the veggin at my place... its gonna be a lot easier to handle than if i was doing the whole op from my apt...

plants won't be getting much bigger than 12-14 inches around here... even my moms... BONSAI!!!!!

once everythings been run.. we'll keep moms of all of our favorite strains/phenos (maybe more than one of a strain) and just do cuttings,
and it'll turn into a massive SOG op... with shit going in and out ever 2-3 weeks...

but that's gonna have to wait till we got our moms and make it through this first go...
Nice. That sounds badass, man. So you got a buddy helping you out then? That's cool, it makes it a lot easier.

yeup... we're thinking 1800w for flowering... =]

so my sad clones are not as pathetic looking today... after my myke/fulvic acid/kelp attack pluss a nice strong ferting yesterday has really helped bring them back...

temps are flaring up on me... go kinda annoying... like 95 for a few hours yesterday... i was tinkering with the vent system though so its completly my fault... i really want a 5000btu a/c but those won't be availible for another 2 months really...

three more strains were acquired this weekend, not 5... but they are NYsourD, Jack's Cleaner x Pacific Aire, and Blacklight

... i have no idea what the blacklight is... haha

13 more beans to get started...

so here's a new vid of my op... my moms are vegging along quite nicely, and hopefully more cuts will become availible in another week... beans are poppin, clones are starting to veg nicely... i'm fairly happy with it actually...

oh, and in the pic, that how i've done the germing of seeds... first in a paper towel until the tap root was showing, then into half a cube of rockwool in icetrays... haha

they don't need the full cube, and half of one just fits perfectly in there... cost me a dollar for 2 16 site icecube trays... so that was nice and cheap...

the tray on the right just had beans popped into the rockwool... no germing in paper towel before hand... i'm gonna see how necessary the towel is...

Yo, Ian You got a strain schmorgasborg over there. Very nice vid cant wait to see the outcome of all those......
of topic but I see you like growing in pots. Have you tried Coco chior as a medium?
I love it. it make things so easy its already PH bufferd and you cant get soil deseases in it. What works for me is 50% coco 50% perlite. retain lots of water with great drainag

i've thought about cococoir
and am still

i only have 3 plants in soil... my 2 moms and another plant i'm just kinda keeping around... the rest is in the 100% perlite...

the perlite was given to me free... and a large amount is cheap and easy to get... but i like what coco has to offer... and know a lot of people who love the stuff... don't you have to use coco specific nutes for it though?

i'm going soilless cuz that what my partner does and has been doing for a while... i would have prefered to stay organic but you know... ya get what ya get... plus i have some maxi grow hydro nutes lying around so...

I hear ya.....
You dont have to use specific nutes but you will have the "best" results with them. I use Pureblend for soil and coco they have hydro nutes too but whos to say the diff.
I bet I could use MG with it

well, i thought i'd update with some pics today... video might not be for all...

here's just some different pics of my setup... i'd say i'm using about a 5x2 total area... i have my seedlings, smaller clones and moms, and also soon to go to flowering clones...

you can see on the bigger clones the def. and whatnot caused by the transplant... its all greening up quite nicely and the new veg. looks nice and healthy on them now =]=]

i've just realised i'm gonna need a shitload of perlite... =]
... and more runoff trays...

^full pic.....................................................^seedlings..............................................^1 week away from flowering...

^rooted clones and moms...............................^hdg mom........................^raft mom.........^grow from above...and my hand (doesn't it look kinda creepy?)

so heres what the kids look like today... the raft clones are all really healthy and putting on lots of new growth... they'll be going to flower next weekend... most of the seedlings have come along without a problem... there are a few runts and seeds that didn't pop... but they'll all be given more time...

my moms really need to have clones cut from them... but i need to redo my bubble cloner... so lets hope things move along there without too much going wrong... haha... i might try cloning in rockwool again too.. but i'd need a prop tray to keep the humidity in (my room runs at just about 20% relative humidity all the time... haha)

and how bout a little vid for ya'll?

the babies look nice.
thanks

i'm really liking the whole soilless medium... and using hydro nutes is much simpler... and smells so much better than the organics i was running...

i think i'll take up soil growing again once i can do something outside...
