@lukio have you ever had any interest in astronomical photography? I was watching a program on the BBC a while ago about a guy who uses a telescope with a webcam attached and gets some amazing pictures of planets and various celestial bodies. Def something I could get into at some point. Half decent telescopes are quite reasonably priced these days.

Now that I've dismantled my veg cab I have 2 x FB22B 4000K strips on an ali frame. I'm thinking to put them in with the flowering light which is 2 x FB24B's 3000K. This would give me around 40W/sq. ft...or a luminous flux of approx 52,000. I *think* I should divide that by 67....and that would give me a PPFD of around 776. Does that add up and is it the right thing to do? If I use just the 3000K strips it is a luminous flux of 37,000 which divided by 67 is 552 PPFD.
Appreciate any advice chaps, thanks :)

Ive been locking long and hard at those strips but im getting the feeling they are too much red with too little spread. 10 leds per meter of strip and id loving it.
Now im looking at these:

https://www.led-tech.de/de/Osram-OSLON-Square-hyper-red-Triple-Star

The oslon square diode seems to have a bit less max power but much better efficiency, almost 3 ppf/w, even at full power. Also, several smaller packages means better spread. Increased efficiency also means less heat to handle. If only they came with pushin connectors. But ive already decided, i need to learn soldering. Im thinking 4-5 tripple stars to a 1 meter u-channel...

They didn’t behave any differently from the tent with the QBs but then that’s more testament to the value of the QBs given the price difference.
I’ve got a little mix up of stuff from Dinafem and some Sweet seeds Blackjack, there’s an expert seeds GG4 x WW in the tent too, looking good at the min gonna flip them at the weekend.
