nice mate.. i'm trying to setup something similar.. well.. actually.. i don't know what i'm trying to setup yet.. i've got a small cab, 250w hps and some seedlings on the go but don't really have a plan yet how it's gonna go.. what size cab is that? the main issue with my cab is height.. so was thinking of either lst/scrogging, getting a mother out of the seedlings i've got right now then setting up a perpetual sog.. or just getting a bigger cab.
keep us updated on this grow.. keen to see how it goes..
u'r sooo lucky u got all fems though.. all the reading i've been doing says that u shouldn't scrog from seeds in case u get a male and have to rip it from the screen.. but thats cool u got all fems dude gratz.
also.. can u give us more details on the grow? like what medium u'r using and nutes if any? thanks.
Thanx dude, i think if your going to be growing in a small cab than a scrOG is def the way to go, its helped me fill the area perfectly and any over growth i just trim of. Heres the specs to my cab.
Size- 1.1m high, 0.85m wide, and 0.40m deep.
As you can see my cab is pretty small and at first i though theres no way i would be able to grow anything in it but i asked around on here and got some good advice, i think someone told me you can put a 250w HPS like 30cm above the top of the plants (provided you have proper ventilation and air circulation), so aslong as u have enough height to allow for 30cm i think you should be ok.
The cab is ventilated using a 150mm hydroponics exhaust fan which does everything i need it to, also its strong enough for the right sized carbon filter. It pulls through an open hole down the bottom of the cab which is 180mm in diameter.
As for the soil its a mixture of 70% soil and 30% perlite.
The screen is just thick wire mesh that i pinched from work, the holes are 5cm big but i think there to large so next time im gonna try get a screen with 2.5cm holes.
The plants get watered every second day, and every second watering they get fertilized with a great fertilizer my mate recommended but the bottle it came in was crap and leaked so i had to pour it into a water bottle instead so i cant really tell you wat the NPK of it was cus i cant remember.
I think that coveres what i left out, if theres anything else just hit me up and good luck man like i said i think scrOG is defiantly the way to go and is much easier to control than a SOG in a small area.
