Ok, Ive got a question about using RO water and the Lucas Formula. Ok... When using the Lucas Formula, do I need to add anything else? Epson Salt? anything, or just do the lucas formula.. Also how strong should I feed them right now if they are on only about week two and on their third nodes.. Im only vegging under floros so I was gonna do only 5/10ml instead of the 8/16. Also do I even need to use the lucas at all if I just want to veg out some mothers>

5 ml micro and 10 ml bloom is the typical low light vegging mix
8 ml micro and 16ml bloom is the flowering mix

For two week old seedlings, I'd go about 4/8 and step it up to 5/10 in a week or two.

No, you don't need any calcium or magnesium supplements, because GH has plenty.

And no, you don't "need" to use Lucas for your mothers, but it's simple and I'd recommend it.

yea thanks alot bro, anything else I should know? Right now I am at a light 2/4 about 180 ppm solution and my ph is fluctuating big big time every day, it sucks

Are you using a conductivty meter or a TDS/ppm meter. If so just use 2 parts bloom to 1 part micro. Add in that arto a little at a time until you get the EC reading you want. I do not use the highest concentration at any time with aero mister systems. Just the lower level for the seedlings and early clones. I stay at the middle level at all other times unless growing a sativa heavy strain.


EC microsiemen: Conductivity
0-4-8: 946 µS
0-5-10: 1184 µS
0-8-16: 1894 µS

TDS @ 0.5 conversion: Most American sold meters use the 0.5 conversion.
0-4-8 = 473 ppm
0-5-10 = 592 ppm
0-8-16 = 947 ppm

TDS @ 0.7 conversion:
0-4-8 = 663 ppm
0-5-10 = 829 ppm
0-8-16 = 1326 ppm
