Lucas Formula in soil

Im currently on day 19 of flowering and started using gh's 2 bottle, lucas formual feeding. What I don't understand is how is it that I give the plant exactly the same amount of nutes from vegetative growth through flowering? It doesn't make sense to be giving it the same ratios throughout its life. For now im giving it 6.25ml micro and 12.5 ml bloom. Im using 12 cfl's. I may increase it to the recommended 8/16 next week, but wondering, do I give it micro in that ratio (half of bloom), throughout flowering? I never have to decrease micro, which contains nitrogen, and/or increase bloom? Seems odd it's getting exactly the same balance all its life.

idk man . getting to technical here . and i was sampling . if you following along . later in bloom then the more you increase bloom booster to try ta get the biggest flower possible . if you ask me i do not see any difference at all hitting the shit out of them with bloom boosters currently backed way off my ppm were so high trying to get every last extra out of them plants should of dyed locking out nutrients because i used to push them so high i had to add other stuff to get them unlocked stupid right lol . . i used to mix 5 different things sugar vitamin c calmag 2 different nutrients . root enhancers . now .i have been lazy working to much . just put some bull shit mg plant food in been using this and plants stay green huge and rewarding in the end . same amount of nutrient entire grow so was there a major difference pushing the plants to the limits and back ? no i honestly think they do more ! and my plants are green . you guys think i crazy rocking mg plant food . i laugh at people dropping 100 o 500 in a hydro store when i spend 7 bucks .

Thanks for the reply, though im not sure I understand most of that post and I don't see how that answers my question in any way:) Im going to continue using the lucas formula as I found it..1 part micro, 2 part bloom. May decrease micro a bit and increase bloom a touch..starting 4th week of flowering today.

Lucas formula always worked well for me when I used it. I used it according to instructions at first but after a few tries I ended up just winging it with a basic 2 to 1 (Bloom to micro). Whenever I used Lucas I never added any amendments and everything turned out fine. I think you will be too

Thanks for the reply. Ive read people having success with it, and I know its just a basic feed regimen, just thought maybe along the way people tweaked it a bit especially for flowering, but I haven't heard anyone saying anything negative about the 2:1 ratio yet, so i'll continue that with again, maybe a slight mod to it in that i'll increase bloom and lower the micro starting later this week. Last watering was 7.5ml micro to 15 ml bloom. In between feedings i'll add a tbs of molasses as well.

Its my first time using gh or the lucas formula..its why I asked the question I did..i have no prior experience with any of it so I cant compare.

I may be wrong, but I looked in to the lucas formula once, and I was thinking during flower the formula changed during flower. The same ml but swapped the grow ratio with micro ratio and vice vs.

Na I think well I've read that it's the same through out plants life but when its seedlings u water down more 50% I'm after a full proof formula for soil

It works. I run Lucas using Jungle Juice Micros and Bloom. You might have to supplement cal mag in early to mid-flower.

8 ml of Micros. 16 ml of Bloom. Cal mag only as needed and depending on your water.

I don't agree at all. What you're talking about is a formula for hydro, not soil. If you start with nicely amended soil, you don't have to use a strong nute regimen, especially when using something like GH Flora, which is made for hydro.

M8 is that to a 3 gallon bucket I'm currently useing 24 micro and 48 bloom ... so I'm well over feeding

Absolutely correct. Just feed 5 ml of each per gallon of water, and your plants will love it. First flush well with plain water and allow to dry before starting feeding again.

Basically I'm on my 10th grow only ever used lucus formula with soil, and I start with a 3 gallon bucket and add 24 ml micro stir add 48 ml bloom then adjust ph and that's my feed . So my busker for mixing is about 13 and half litres so my feeds correct just checking cheers all 4 help

Sometimes at least once in each grow I get what looks like nutrient burn but also could b leds 2 close that's all but if was nutrients and I keep feeding, the plants would just die off so think its leds 2 close .. thank god 4 rollitup
