I LST right up until mid flowering then stop, but leave all ties in place. Soon as you cut a tie she will pull herself right back up again in 24 hours, such is the strength and vigour of these plants. It really is your choice.

I just posted this on the subject on another thread:

Yeah I have read this thread already and his method goes agianst alot of methods saying leave it tied down until the last couple weeks or 3 weeks after he actually gives his plant breathers and then ties down from his thread this also works . He even states on his next grow he will take all the ties out around 5 weeks of flowering.

Well for those lsting for height restrictions about 3 weeks after flowering most believe the stretch is over and they can let there plants up. Some believe the added stress from the ties needs to be lifted to prevent hermies theres alot of different thought and this is why im trying to contain all these thoughts on one thread to view back to later.

I don't lst as such but use a technique used by rose gardener's using plant ties to arrange each stem to catch the light,
you can ,and i have done this, bend the top of your plant back gently not forcing it,and tie it using a gardeners twist tie,
this allow's the other branches to catch up but restrict's the centre from gaining any height, but be gentle,i usuall y leave
it tied a week or two as needed and then release it

Never had a 'hermie' in all my years of using LST..... all plants respond well to training, these ladies love a bit of bondage :-)

Leave them tied; it's no different than leaving the net on a scrog...
Theres alot of other posts stating the bud swells once the ties are removed but most here say leave it tied. Any of you guys actually untied your plants and saw a difference?
