LST or short veg for small plants?

I have heard that you can achieve your goal of short plants by using a short veg cycle or by LST plants. What method is more effective as far as yield goes. I have some greenhouse big bang fems that I am about to grow. I need to keep the plant height under 30 inches.

LST will give bigger yield than short veg cycle.

The LST will create more bushiness right? I will have to calculate that into my grow space.

lst is the greatest thing for mj in my opinon gives so much more yield per square foot
