LST + Hydro?

I have been growing for the first time using a scrog technique with soil grown plants and I want to try LST (I hate working around a screen). I also want to try growing hydroponically, I figure it'd be less mess and more reward.

I have done a fair amount of research of both LST and Hydroponics, but have never seen them done together. Has anyone tried this? Any journals I can look at?

In case anyone was wondering, the setup I plan to use is for a small grow (1-2 plants). I have a 150W HPS for lighting. The strain is White Rhino. I still don't know whether I want to us a single plant in a single potted hydro system, or if I want to use a two pot hydro setup.

Any replies regarding the LST/Hydro setup would be appreciated.

I understand scrog will yield more, but I find the idea of LST more appealing, simply because I have had shit luck with screens. My plants grow fine through them, it just gives me a headache to work around.

i am growing dwc and lst also use scrog system to veg and start the plant in the right path.once the plant is trained i remove the screen and rely on the tie downs to keep things neet.i use a screen from an old fridge cut in half so it slides right out without harming the plant.it worked for me.right now its a great flat sea of green. i flipped them a few days ago and plan to continue using the tiedowns for direction. but so far so good

I think I may have to try that in my next grow!
