Leave it tied down dude , if you release the bindings it will probably stretch and topple over , flower it just as it is , the point of lst is to get the stems and bud sites all over in a tight group so you get more plant per your area using teh light lower to the plant so it all gets even light, the main top will grow upwards and so will all the side branches , which hopefully will all be bud sites :)

Hey how's it growing?
Just leave it tied down, you may have to adjust them after awhile, to bring them down more again, and you'll prolly have to use twist ties to open your cannopy up for the other shoots to get light, try to tie the fan leafs back outta the way of the new comming shoots. Other than that, just water and nute, and wait.
I was just wondering what type of grow are you doing? Soil or hydro? What type of lights you have and the strain? How far along are you?
I'm currantly on my 4th grow, 2nd lst. After an lst grow you won't wanna go any other way, especially if you're in a closet or minimal space.
I use cfl's for veg for about 3 weeks then put my 400w hps in and veg for 2-3 more weeks and then flip them into 12/12 for 8-9 weeks.
I'm doing a soil grow and my veg nutes are 24-8-16 and my flower nutes are 15-3015 and molassas

Hey scg! I have done plenty of researh on bending and have done this for most of my strains for security reasons!
1)tie plant parallel to ground
2)when main cola starts to grow upward about 6inches tie ot down again! You can tie it down basically anyway u want it!
3)then just treat it as a normal plant during these procedures (note that when buds start to get dense amd heavy u should make sure that the main stem is not touching the ground/soil. Create some stucture out of cheap materials to support tje main stem and keep it alifted!) i usually bend plant during flowering knowing that the plant will double/triple size from veg. Hope this helps
