LSD Grow...Has Comenced!

Ok so I germinated 1 seed and....SUCESS it sprouted and within 2 days broke the soil and one week in; it is almost 4 inches tall. No big leaves yet though.

So question what light cycle should I start currently at 18-6, is this ok?

First off in veg state you want 24 hour light. And give the plants as much light as possible cfl in the blue spectrum is good bt if you add one small cfl in soft white it'll be better but if u use cfls. Put it as close to plants as possible but don't put too much heat and put aluminum foil over everything and keep soil moist and flush some air in there every day. Look up some forums around here and look on youtube

18-6 is fine for veg thoo 24-0 would be better..all depends on how much you are willing to spend extra on electricity.. Try to have the cfls as close as possible to prevent stretching and have some kind of fan to circulate air in the grow room!

If you're growing an auto yeah 24/0 is good. If you're growing photos then 18/6 is best for veg. What kind of lights you got?

Yeah its not an auto. But right now i have two T5 FL and one 75w growing light from wal-mart. I thought 18-6 is the best as weel it seems to do all its growing at night anyway.

So I went and turned on my lights and what a surprise I have two serated leaves apearing.

Currently the sprout is in a jiffy pot with miracle grow, and will be transfering to a more organic soil once it is safe, unless yall have a better idea. Or could I just start sprinkling the organic soil on top and than mist the surface with water so the nutes fall towards the root?

I planted mine in ffof and waited a month before adding nutes and my lsd is growing like a champ. If you get a chance check out my journal.

24/0 seems the best if hydro is not a matter. ive had more nodes with 24/0 when i tested this against 18/6. never used 20/4
