for your male lr2's within two weeks of sex showing you should be able to start harvesting pollen. the nut sacks will go from green to lime green and be soft when you squeeze em..... dont squeeze to hard, they are nuts.
get yourself a jar, toothpick a towel and bowl of water.
pluck the nuts that are soft and lime green, just do one first cuz they may not be ready.... hold it by the "butt" over the jar, rub the tooth pick back and forth gently where the nut sack opens, you should see the yellow powder fall into the jar..... it may take a minute to get it down (when there ready) but once you do it's like ridin a bike. then just use a paint brush to apply to the flowers of the female. make sure the pollen has a chance to dry before storing.
wash your hands in the bowl of water... now dry em.
and as far as better female rates...... buy feminized seeds..... thats about it. i usualy plant 15+ at one time.
most were about 2 - 2.5 ft tall but had some shorties. the coolest one was 5inches and there is a pic of it on my journal. If you let them go about a extra week or so they will turn purple.
