Dear Gentlefolks,
Heartbrakingly, my girls will have to be left alone for about 10 days. I grow in ROLS with 3 and 2 gallon pots that can withstand up to one week of drought before serious signs of weakness start to show.
I am looking for a tested low-tech method that can help the soil stay moist for a while longer. I always leave my trims on top of the soil to preserve moisture.
Several times have I tried blumats with an average failure rate of about 75% of the outlets...
Has anyone DIYed their way out of this situation before? I am primarily looking for a bottle of water with holes in the lid type of setup.
Please help my girl keep their turgor.
H2Oingly yours,
M
