Lowryder2 Grow

Well this is my second grow and ive bought a whole new setup

Setup
1M Square tent
Exhaust Fan & Carbon Filter
400w HPS Sunmaster Light
Intake Fan

I also have a 0.8M Square tent with a 180w CFL w/ Reflector for the veg stage, but with this been an autoflowering grow ive stuck em straight into the flowering tent.

Seeds
I bought five feminised lowryder2 seeds from joint doctor. 4 out of 5 germed but two got burnt due to me having the HPS too close i think, used CFLS in past grows so i gt em a bit closer than they should be, i woke up on day three and two were just dried up and shrivelled.

The grow
So i now have 2 Lowryder2 fem on day 7, i also have 2 jackherer cuttings in there which im going to leave in veg with the lowryders on an 18/6 schedule. Everything is looking fine, im going to order some fem diesel ryders to replace the losses, also going to get some pineapple chunk (after testing it in the dam, serious stoner tackle) and blue mystic.

I will post some pics later on tonight when my gfs mother eventually goes home and i can go to my tent inconspicuously!

Well like i said sorry about the updates or should i say lack of them, but im here as promised with pictures!. Im 28 days in from the time they sprouted, im currently feeding them with biobizz bloom and veg, 4ml of each to 2 litres of water, usually every 3 days.

Pics are in natural lighting as the HPS proves a twat to take pics under!

Hey man! good to see that the grow is still going, do you know how old were the lowryder2 ladies when they showed pre-flowers ? They are looking good ;)

180 CLF vs 400 HPS ?? hehe there'll be quite a big difference.

Id say they started to show about 2 and a half 3 weeks. And i should imagine there will be a difference haha but it has got the CFL to itself where as the others are sharing so we will see :) got my other seeds through the post today.

Pineapple chunk (FEM)
Critical Jack (FEM)
Pineapple Express (FEM)
Blue Mystic (FEM)

Let the good times roll :P

Well its 5 weeks tommorow and its all lookin good still, i must say i am enjoying these autoflowers they seem to grow in front of your eyes and ive had no problems so far, i think what people said about going for the original joint doctor seeds is a must because i bought feminized and they are both female and did start flowering like 3 week through where as last year when i chucked a couple of nirvana short stuff in with my big ladies they both turned out herm and did not start to flower automatically!

As ive said i also bought some diesel ryder to try, again feminized and they have also both popped and are groing rapidly once again! Cant wait to see what the buds like!

The nitrogen claw which i appeared to have seems to be clearing up newer leafs arent curling down and the buds seem to be coming along nicely, the fan leaves would usually be loosing colour etc by now anyway im guessing due to them been in flowering!

Pics are in natural lighting once again, really skunky smell coming from these ladies now when i take them out of the tent

Diesel Ryder
Well heres the baby diesel ryder from last week! Really shooting up
IMG00075-20101213-1507.jpg

And i thought id replace her! I always like to have a baby in there aswell, so heres another diesel ryder i germed about 3 or 4 days ago, she got stuck in her shell aswell just like the last one, weird.

IMG00076-20101213-1507.jpg

The Jack Cuttings
Well actually its just one of them, im flowering this one in a DRS80 tent with 180w CFL too itself will see how it goes on! Keeping the other in veg under the 400w HPS with my autoflowers.

IMG00074-20101213-1506.jpg

My seeds for the next grow have all arrived too as i said, im thinking about investing in a 4 pot wilma system, with clay pebbles. Something new is always a treat, just wondered if anybody has used these.

Well thats all for this week will update next week, any questions dont hesitate to ask :)

Hey mrhawkeye,

The lowryders look amazing man!! Looking at the leaves also makes me think that it could be a nute problem. I read that autos are not as tolerant as normal plants with nutes and you are supposed feed them less. Anyway I've never grown autos yet and just read it, no experience with it.

I will grow my first autos in about two months though!! really looking forward to it. Also gonna go with joint doctor seeds because of the reasons you talk about :)

Will definitely follow your grow till the end, I'm happy to see that you have just started those baby diesels hehe

And also got a question, do you know how many litres are the pots you are using for those girls ?

Cheers :)

Thanks for the support mate! And yea i was skeptic about the autos aswell especially after my shit experience with the short stuff seeds! But i reccomend joint doctor all the way and if you order them from lowryder.co.uk the official lowryder site, i can pretty much guarantee they will be next day delivery, all mine have come the next day, there cheapest from there aswell, i shopped around :)

As for the pots im not too sure myself i got them from b and q last minute they were the biggest they had in, i might fill one of the spares with water and find out!

Im wanting to try the blueryder, but ive read bad things so not sure yet!
Peace

Well its six week tomorow and theres good and bad news this week. The lowryders are still going strong but one of my jack cuttings seems to have gone all droopy looking and floppy, anyone got any ideas?

Ive ordered a new 300w CFL BLUE for veg dont think the 180 going to cut it with 4 to 6 plants vegging under it. So al be using the 300 and 180 for veg and my 400w HPS for flowering, going to make that 2x wen ive got the money, dam christmas.

Also ordered some root riot cubes and an oxypot dwc system, gunna give that a whirl if its decent might invest in a few of em.

Anyway heres the pics!
