Lowryder2 First Grow Cfl

i am currently on day 12 and all seems to be going well.
i am using:
-2 gallon smart pots
-ffof potting soil
-R/O water
4 4ft high output 45-watt bulbs i believe around 5000 lumens each. 6500K
-black/white poly
-4'8" by 2' closet

i chose to grow lowryder2 because of their size and short flowering times. i have not had any issues so far but i am sure something is bound to happen. the only thing i can say i wish i had at the moment is a fan. i have been keeping the lights about 3 inches away from the plants, i know the light is higher in the pic. The plant in the little pot was just a seed i planted so i could test my germination method and now i am going to try and test my lst method on it too.

Any input would be much appreciated.

start them out with a diluted nutrient until you work them up!, They will love you for it!
i decided to give them a dose of high nitrogen bat guano instead of grow nutes because the ffof has nutes for three weeks which is as long as the veg cycle for lowryders. i started lst on the two larger lowryders and my test plant. we shall see how they turn out.

You will be satisfied with the LST'ing. I'm more than pleased without how mine turned out. Just gotta put more light in there to fill her in.. Looking good though keep it up! I'll be watching from here on out!

Lowes or any hardware store will have adapters and fittings.OR you can use old lamps for their fixtures and chords.. Can you wire things together? lol without fear of electrical fires?

i cant but my buddy can no prob. i was thinking of something like a desk lamp fixture that has a flexible stand. or neck or what ever you want to call it lol.

i forgot to say that they are under 18/6.
Not sure if your lowryders are crossed with the AK as well? but if they're you should actually do a 20/4 setting instead. It's what they suggestion on their website in the description. + rep hope for the best ill be watching. I have x2 lowryders 2's right now and one is about a week away from chop

http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/easy-ryder-aka-lowryder-2-x-ak47/prod_442.html "This is an f1 cross between a Lowryder #2 and an automatic AK47 in which the two parents strongly exhibit their best genetic traits: high resin production, the fruity aroma (of a carefully selected Lowryder #2 phenotype), and the size and branching of the AK47 automatic.
This poly-hybrid is fully auto-flowering and matures in 70-75 days from germination, reaching optimal size if given enough light (intensity and time). The best conditions are 20 hours of light and 4 of dark during the entire cycle. Outdoors the best time is may-august, but it's easy to do multiple cycles per season, until November."

just a little back up ;)

good to know. but i checked out The Joint Doctors grow guide,http://www.lowryderseeds.eu/lowryder-grow-guide.html, and they said"or best results, place jiffy pellet or plant directly into 1-2 gallon pots. Alternatively, start in 4-inch peat pots, then place rootbound females into a plant bed after sexing (at approximately 17-20 days). This may result in smaller plants than the first method. Grown under a 12 to 24 hour daylight cycle from start to finish. Recommended is 18 hours per day; this can be decreased to 16 after the first month with no loss of yield."

not trying to be snobby but, just a little back up

i checked the plants again today and the plants that i started to lst have responded very well and are starting to bush out nicely i will have some more pics soon. i think i got stuck with a few very dwarfed phenotype because 2 of the plants are showing pretty good node development yet are remaining pretty small.
