Lowryder 2 X Santa Maria 3 weeks in

this is my first grow so i thought it would be best to start with a lowryder. its in miracle grow soil(lack of soil in winter) and has 5 cfls beaming it with light. i noticed orange spots and dwindling of the lower leaves last week and i learned that is a mg deficiency so i watered it with some epsom salt the other day. didnt notice any huge changes. its still growing strong with nodes popping out everywhere so i guess ill water it with the salt when its time to water and keep doing it till theres a change. i was wondering how long it will take to start the flowering stage and if i could be doing anything to help her out. shes in a rubbermaid stealth box that i made spending 0$ so im pretty happy about that. its on a 24/0 light schedule untill my dad takes down the christmas lights and i can take the timer and use it on my plant haha:p ive been watering it with tap water that i let sit for 48 hours and the ph is around a 6.6photo (14).jpgphoto (15).jpg

Looks like a great start!! You're about a week ahead of my bagseed grow.

I started my grow in MG and I just switched to Fox Farm Happy Frog today because I had the same issues. Also I just ordered some GH Flora nutes to start learning how to do that bizness.
I'm subbed in, good luck!

I'm curently asking almost the same question in my thread. I'm not using anything at all for reflection and I'm curious just exactly how much reflection would help with the growth

If you want reflection your better off with white walls then tin foil. Look for sheets of mylar, foil may look similar but is no where near what you need.

You'd be far better off with cardboard duct taped together painted white. I've made entire boxes out of cardboard/black trashbags with white duct tape on one side. I called it "Ghetto Panda Film". Low budget is no excuse for lack of creativity mate.
