chunkeymonkey,
How many grams do you expect to pull off one of those ladies???
I have absolutely no idea...I've read some people say they've only gotten 5 grams off a plant, and some people say they've gotten 45grams per plant so... I'm sure it has to do with the conditions those people grew in. I'm just hoping I can get more than 5 grams (which I'm pretty sure I will but you never know), hopefully I'll get a half ounce to an ounce all together though.

Here are some pics from this morning. Today is day 45. You can see on the close ups that some of the lower pistils are changing colors, and that there are way more trichomes than 5 or 6 days ago (whenever my last pic post was). What do you guys and gals think? As always, suggestions and comments welcome. Thanks for looking. CM

they look tastey....... how tall are they?

they seem so small... maybe 5-6 inches.
They are a little small for their age. They are 5.5 and 6.5. I think I repotted too late and maybe stunted their growth a little. Next time I'm going soil only and transplanting early! How long do you usually let yours go? and do you harvest the buds that are ready first, or do the whole thing at once?

i let em go 9-10 weeks all together, you can tell when there ready by the trichs. i don't really like to re-pot, i will for my first two or three outdoor batches but other than that i just start em in jiffy's then into 1-2 gallon containers (anything bigger is a waste of space). i just cut the whole plant down when i do it.... i don't think there really gunna pack more weight on after the initial harvest, but it's worth a shot i guess. i'd expect around 8-10 grams dry from a 5 incher, unless they are extremly bushey, then maybe a lil more.

what about when you have pollinated a bud on a plant, do you still do it the same way? i believe i pollinated early enough(i think week 4), so i'd think the seeds will be ready by the time i harvest.

no no no wait 11-12. you'll see em start to pop out. you can tell the pollination took because the flowers will have died off within a few days..... the seeds are worth waitin for.

Zoid...wait 11-12 for what? should I pollinate at the first signs of a white hair or should i wait for the hair to get older?

Thanks

so if it takes 4 weeks from seed to first get enough white hairs to pollenate, then I have to wait another 11-12 weeks...or would it be 7-8 weeks in this case?

Thanks peace

Awesome thread man, I'm watching this one. I plan on starting a LR#2 grow soon in a SH system, and will definitely be doing a journal. Good luck with the rest of your grow man, peace.

........... you have to wait six years when you pollinate.... and you have to multiply your weight on mars by the diameter of your thumb to get how many seeds you'll end up with.:joint:

from seed to pollination.... bout 4 weeks. from pollination to mature seeds bout 8 weeks. could be different for you, that's just what i found with the way i grow.... but i think it's a good time line.

Well...it's day 52 and this is what they look like today. The first 2 pics are one plant, and the last 3 are the other. It looks to me like the 2nd plant is going to be ready sooner than the other, but I'm not sure. Since I pollinated a bud on each, I think I might cut the buds that are ready (when they are ready), and leave the pollinated ones to mature fully. If anybody has any input or suggestions on this please feel free to say something.

I dont see why it would not work. Just cut the ones that are mature and let the seed go longer to mature. Like you said.
