I just spent 3 hours milking pollen fron an original LR. Plan on doing the same with Skunk #1 and Afghan.so am i........ for this summer anyway.
just placed a bean order........... look for some tasty xing comin up.
i will have five outdoor grow journals this summer.
lowryder 2.... of course
skunk x nothern lights
blue cheese
white widow
&
crystal skunk
i will be pollinating one female from each strain with lr2 pollen, take the auto's from that and again pollinate with lr2 pollen, then inbreed to %100 auto. maybe i'll have some more contests in december.
Let me ask ya about your male LR#2.....i have gone thru 4 female orginal LR and have to wait the full 60+ to harvest, yet the males are ready within 30 days, and ALOT bigger....is this the same with your LR2 plants?

my females are definatly bushier than the males.
you have to consider that the goal of a male is to pollinate....
the female takes longer to bud, but not to flower, the male shoots up as high as he can and opens his pods, pollinating the female early to better the chances of the seeds maturing, then continuing for a week or two.
i'd like you to keep me updated on your xing, if you take pictures i'd like to see em, maybe we can share our experiences...........

Facult, apparently its for seeds from a 3/4" long bud..not the whole plant.

pic on page one is the bud on the plant.... plant is still alive, seeds starting to brown.

I'm going to say 87. I really need these seeds for this summer. I am growing outdoors in AK and its 22-24 hours of sunlight...which is kind of rough on flowering cycles....
