Lowryder 2 Grow, plant leaves are rapidly dying!

This is my 3rd LR2 Grow, the first 2 went perfect with zero probs. Conditions are the same, except this time I reused the soil from a previous grow. The plant has grown beautifully up until about 1 week ago. It started with yellowing are the 2 lower large leaves. This developed into the 4 lower large leaves, with the first 2 near dying. I stopped applying the nutes, and watered quite a bit thinking the salt level may be a little high from the previous grow. The condition since has worsened, now with upper leaves beginning to yellow at a rapid pace, and there is also quite a few that are turning blue?? I need some help as im afraid im losing her =(

Its hard too tell. Reusing the soil opens up so many possibilities. PH/BUGS/Disease/Fungus. Did you check the soils ph before reusing it? Did you amend the soil with anything before reuse? Need very specific details to diag this one.

I started the new plant in new soil of its own, and then when it had a few sets of leaves I transplanted it into this pot with about half new soil. It has flourished since. There are zero bugs, and im not sure on the PH. I will like to get a general concensus if i can and take some proactive measures until I get get down to the plant shop and get a ph kit. Any suggestions?

None right now. I guess just plain water until you figure out the problem. No need to stab in the dark and make things worse. You really need to know the ph of your soil.

Ok, ill go get a test kit today then. I just wasnt sure if there was anything I could use that would possibly stabilize it without causing any harm if it wasnt a ph issue. Ill repost in about an hour with the ph results.

kineticz,

I was going to say it looks like a nitrogen deficency but am not real sure about that and would hate to be the cause of your making it worse.

If you could track "Uncle Ben" down and get him to give you his opinion I'll bet you he'll know.

Thing thats weird is I have 3 going, all in the same room, all get fed/watered at the same time. They are all flourishing as was this one until 1 week ago. Could this be a result of bad genetics in an auto flowering strain? What about salt build up from reusing soil? Anyone know how I would test for that? Im stumped.

kineticz,

I don't have any experience with auto flowering strains so I really can't comment on that.

Once again I think you best bet is to get Uncle Ben's opinion. He's got a thread called "gardening tips and tweaks". I'm sure if you post those pictures there and politely ask for his advice on the matter he'll help you out.

hey....I thought once u started flowering, dieing leaves were inevitable. Looks to be Budding nicely.
My first 2 LR grows went right to the end without only the first 2 lower leaves turning yellow. Ths one just up and started rapidly yellowing everywhere (with some leaves turning blue) in the last week. I would think that this is too excessive??

Losing her??? That looks like natural end of life to me with some nice triches. It looks similar to mine after the final week's flush. Picture at end of my journal. You don't say in which week this pic was taken

it looks almost done anyway why worry, just don't use that soil again. You still have enough foliage to complete it looks like. Its probably the re used soil so just dont use again and you should be fine.

Looks almost done. Lots of resin on the buds. I could tell ya where you could have went wrong because its so late into the harvest. Most bloom boosters will make your foliage look this way.
