Hi all

Ive just built a small grown room (90cm x 60cm x 50cm) and equipped it with 1x 125W CFL bulb and reflector in there. I plan to do 4 plants at a time.

But.....

Should i use the red spectrum bulb for the whole grow (aparantly best for flowering) as lowryder dont have much of a veg stage.

Or

Should I start them for the 1st 2-3 weeks under a blue bulb then switch to the red bulb.

Will the sudden change in spectrum cause stress?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks guys

I'd put a splitter on the socket inside your box and use a blue and a red through the entire process. 1 125 watt CFL is not a lot of light. especially for 4 plant's.

Theyre only lowryder and grow to a maximum of 16 inches (avaerge is 12 i think)....I'll be happy with 14g of each one

125w should surely be ok for 4 x 12 inches plants??

I've grown lowryder twice with CFL and I will say, if growing with CFL, don't expect much bud. I got 10 grams from 3 plants TOTAL and I had 6 CFL's in my room.
