just got back from lowes with another 6 pack of bulbs! i was amazed when my total was $3 and some change. Here's what the clerk told me....
August 16 - November 17 all the cfl's are really cheap. so if you bought bulbs from lowes during these dates and still HAVE the receipt showing no discount, go in and they will credit you, which is basically another pack of bulbs. so tomorrow i'll go back in and get more bulbs for free ( cause ive kept all my receipts to track the amount of $$$ invested ) in a sense.
just thought i'd share a great deal with everyone!!
