Lower temperature in room

Hi,I'm currently running 6 x 600w parabolics in a 7m x 4 m room. Im currently having temps of around 35c in the room, i have 2 inline fans sucking from outside the room (outside the building). I also have 3 fans and 3 filters running at maximum and still I'm getting this 35c temperature. How can i make the temp lower? Ive been recommended to buy an a/c unit and adapt my inline fans to suit the a/c unit. Im currently using RVK 6 inch fans for the inlines and The same for the outs, all running 6 inch ducting. The temp isn't causing my setup any real stress but i would really like to get it lower if possible. cheers

If you could cool your lights it would greatly reduce your heat issue. If you go the ac route, you will need to get a good sized ac unit to cool those bad larrys. You may want to look at mini splits.

he said parabolics................if i am thinking correctly that means it is a open light on a silver umbrella

what the first guy said look into a cooltube system it will keep the area alot cooler then what u have now ................adding a ac will work but it like 2 forces fighting each other with that open air .........the ac would need to be very powerful and would never kick off except when the lights are out and temp is reached

2 decent sized ac's will be your best bet... you're going to want two because if one fails at least the other can cool it down a little so you don't lose everything while you get a replacement. Anyway, I know that 2x 12,000 btu window units, or 2 portable dual hose units that are 13,000+ btu's will work. The floor units cost more and don't do as good of a job as window units but the problem with window units is if you run co2 you're gonna have to find one with recirculate mode, open it up and seal it a little better so you're not exchanging any air from the outside to in and vice versa. Both setups work great, and I recommend the window units over portables, they're a little cheaper and cool a bit better, and aren't hard at all to seal better.

Thanks for the replies, I've decided to buy a portable (standing) a/c unit. It is a 12,000 BTU. I can't have a window one as it will casuse too much hassle for me to install. Is it best for me to put the a/c in the actual room? and have the exhaust from the a/c leading direct to outside. (still keeping my inline fans coming from outside) or put the inline fans sucking from the ac in another room. cheers

Least efficient option. The AC is also too small imo.

6x600 =3600
3600 x 3.51 = 12636 btu/hr

Portables are crap so way oversize.

Better to spend on air cooled hoods and save electric bill. you are running at night i assume.

Fair point, I'm actually running throughout the day, as due to the noise its too loud in the night as my area has very little traffic, not near any busy roads or anything there is nothing to dampen the noise of one of my fans. During the day i am unable to hear a thing. It does get cold here in the nights (south uk) so maybe i should try and run them through the night instead? Even on cold days it can't keep the heat down, if i changed to nights would i need to upgrade my fans etc. thanks

you're going to need to massively upgrade your inline fan system if you want to run that many watts without an air conditioner, just 1 12k btu especially a floor unit won't cut it, snaps said you're needing at least 12,600+ btu's power to cool the room and portable units simply don't output what the label says. If it's a 12,000 btu portable I would compare it to like a 8000 btu, you'll still need to upgrade your inline fan system with just adding 1 12k portable. Also, you're not gonna want to intake from your hoods and dump into a portable unit, it's gonna get overheat and probably burn your house down. Intake air from outside, and Exhaust air outside so there's very little exchange from outside in plus upgrade your fans and you might be ok.
