hey guys. repotted this baby a week ago cause it was starting to get lanky. I've had it under one 600W LED about 8 inches away since (to avoid stretching, also to gauge how close is too close as far as lights are concerned). new growth coming out a healthy green albeit with some canoeing, and the earlier growth has been gradually getting discolored, dry and brittle to the touch. Look at the lower leaves. could it be light burn/bleaching ? Using organic nutes very moderately. Watering with RO water. Plant is about 3 going on 4 weeks old

Lights too close. My cobs are 24” and dimmed down in veg.
Also no need to feed at that small. The soil should be good for a while.

let the soil dry right out before watering again.
a pot that size and a plant that small would be 7-10days.
I wouldn’t use RO water in soul unless it’s trying to flush out a bad nute mix or something

I use RO mainly to keep a steady ph (we have HARD water where i'm from) and supplement whatever's filtered out during the RO process with organic nutes (calcium etc..)

What medium is this? That's nute burn you're looking at. Guessing your 600 watter is a blurple?
Mmm...I've been told many times: dark green leaves = nute burn; yellowing lower leaves = nute deficiency; medium is store bought homemade compost. and yes 600w is a blurple. Not ideal i know but it got me through a grow before..

Anyone else care to chime in ? Gonna raise my lights way up. See how she responds to that. Forget to mention: room temp steady around 60-80; moisture around 50-55%

Try to keep your temps closer to 80. Especially after transplant the roots need to stay warm and if it’s cool you need to really watch your moisture level

No. Dark green means it's had enough nitrogen for a while. Fucked up leaves early say nute burn.

Guys, now some of the upper leaves tips are turning brownish and starting to yellow. What’s the deal ? Light’s about 1.5 feet far

I'm pretty sure The light is too close for a 600watt LED, it should be hung as high as possible and dimmed to 25% and they are underfed, you can literally tell by looking at it, the leaves are sucking the nutrients out and feeding it to the new growth, that's why you don't see yellowing in the new growth and it also looks really damp like you are overwatering her in that massive pot

Been watering about 0.3 liters RO water every 3-4 days. When you say underfed, you mean N def ? Cause now one one hand it’s nute burn and the other its N def. Which is it ?

The yellowing is starting from the bottom so it's a mobile nutrient deficiency, it doesn't look like nute burn to me, if it was nute burn wouldn't all the new growth would be dark green and burnt up and not light green? I'm pretty sure it's underfed

There's no way it's overfed and has nute burn, look at it. It's light green in color and the bottom leaves are yellowing which is a massive sign of a mobile nutrient deficiency, you even said you are using the nutrients very moderately so it's impossible to be nute burnt lol :bigjoint:
