yeah i didnt see that, i bloom in 7 or 10 gallon pots depending on how much room i have per run. anything larger than a 5 i recommend vegging for two weeks post transplant to fill in some of the space. otherwise when they finish i find the roots hadn't worked all the way through just yet.

Well right now I'm letting my clones veg for 3-4 weeks. Starting in solo cups for about 11-12 days then transplanted into the 3 gallon pots for the rest of veg and flower... The S.A.D isn't the fastest grower during veg so within that veg time a 6 inch clone won't usually grow about 12-14" (from top of pot)... Would you still recommend me switching to say 5 gallon pots? I couldn't see how it wouldn't help so I might go ahead and pick up some here soon.

From my last crop I was hoping to get somewhere between 130-160 grams was my goal. It was my second indoor go around (1st was poopy bagseed). But due to the lemon skunk being extremely difficult the yield was reduced to almost nothing. But I suppose if I would have had 2 Sweet afgani's rather than the lemon I would have came out with around 112 grams dry..
I don't really expect anything more than last time since I decided to give the lemon skunk another try and it's just as bad as before... Seeing I divide my grow space in half for a perpetual harvest, this means I'm only using a quarter of my space effectively due to the space the lemon skunk is taking up..
I am harvesting the 5 lemon skunk and 4 sweet afgani's at the end of this week so the next set of clones (only sweet afgani this time) will be able to go in to the garden. Now that my tent will be filled with sweet stinky goodness I think I'll start to be happier with yields each crop. Especially if I can duct some fresh air into the tent and get those 5 gallon pots..

You only water 2 gallon pots with 1,000 ml of water every 4-5 days? The length of time sounds good. But 1,000 ml is not much water. that is just a little more then is in a fifth of whiskey. When I water, I water them to where they get a good soaking, and plenty of water runs out the bottom, flushing out all the old and used up crap and replaceuing it all with fresh Nutrients while sucking in fresh oxygen.

Edit: Also, do not get all wrapped up in what the breeder says will be harvest time. These time frames are usually way shorter then reality. And this will be even longer if starting from seeds. try taking your plants about 20% longer till you have 20-30% amber trichs. If you harvest early. You will miss when the buds really swell up fast. I have seen buds double in weight in the final 2 weeks before. But if you cut to early, you will miss this phase.

I meant 3 gallon pots... In the soil I was using before I only had to to water every 4 days or so... But with the soil I'm using now (mg moisture control) I can water every other day or on every 3rd day... I can see your concern with the lack of water but I have always been under the influence that the soil must be completely dry before the next watering in order for the roots to grow. So I always make sure I don't over water the ladies but still keep them drinking.. I plan on switching to the 5 gallon pots in hopes of getting a larger root mass...
