Like I said there are a few that can do big things here. But the majority of the quality work is being done in the USA it seems, I'd rather get closer to the source.

He works with too much skunk, which is exactly what I am talking about. 90's shit, there's better out there now.
Sweet skunk is not a skunk at all....it is a haze variant...he claims his hightest kush is 29% thc...thats fantastic

Look up harlequin or any cross of harlequin.. its not exttemely high in CBD but that shouldnt be the only thing u look for.very popular medicinal strain in washington. It has a good cbd to thc ratio. Pain relief without the high. Very functional

I just posted this yesterday in another thread, growing out Harlequin BX4 from BC Bud Depot. It's supposedly a 1:1 strain that I want for my edibles and some patients that can use the CBD. It's supposedly somewhere between 7%-12% of each depending on pheno and when you harvest. Easy to grow if you grow or know someone who does, it's been a breeze so far and I'm 3 weeks into flowering now, pic was taken at day 14 of 12/12.

I just finished a pheno hunt with these Harlequin BX4's, 2 of the 4 were keepers. They are definitely high in CBD, complete body stone, functional/light head stone. Very nice meds but you'll have to run a few seeds to find the higher CBD pheno's, the other 2 that were in the batch were Ok but nothing like the keepers in strength (body stone). Easy to grow, incredible fruity smell, like a light tropical fruit perfume smell and taste. I didn't do any training first go but I have one of each of the keeper pheno's clones trained up and ready to flower in a couple of days, they look like they'll produce in the 2.5-3 zip range with about 7-8 weeks veg/training.

I'm in WA so it's probably one of the most popular med strains but there's a lot more strains higher in CBD. I talked to a guy at a cloner market and its definitely something I would grow

Thanks, hadn't seen this before, but where is it, EU? Interesting though, if they are the true genetics. From what I've heard, it's hard to stabilize a high cbd strain as the majority of today's genetics have been bred for THC. Thanks.

I did grab a cutting of Harlequin from a local disp here in WA. Have not flowered it yet, but have had a gram to try, and it's something I'm happy to add to the garden. Thanks for the input.

I have both femminized R14er, aka Charlottes web, and hybrids. The hybrids, at least one, are being grown now and wil be tested in the next 2 months.
After talking to Dr Cohen of Holos Health in Boulder, he has confirmed that we as smokers will most likely benefit from a 1:1 at higher concentration, 10%+ on both. While extract makers can blend as we could also do in a pipe or papers. But some of the 1:1 are really great. Tora Bora is stellar. I am trying to figure out hybrids that will more consistently yield a 1:1 or thereabouts. Growing and testing is what I need for verification, until I can get a consistent genetic markers from the Colorado University, Boulder, Cannabis Genomic Project will be aiding in this.
Also have the
Wife, 18%cbd:0.3%thc,
Tange-istan 10CBD:2.3THC,
Tora Bora 15%CBD: 10%THC,
Tange Haze(?) 10:9
R14er, aka R4, aka Charlotte's Web, 21.3CBD:0.91THC
and made seeds with some of these

Oh I almost forgot I have the Harlequin as well, around a 1:1, ANd the Ambulance is another 1:1 around 11%
The Wife and Ambulance are from 303 seeds and handed out to some for dissemination.

Peace and good luck

Just and FYI, CBD is NOT giving you a "body stone," the CBD effect is goes almost unnoticed. Maybe a "warm blanket" type effect. You WILL NOT get high from the cbd, infact it really works as an antagonist to THC, bringing the high down a bit.
That being said if you are finding relief then by all means continue using.

Happy new year all!

Peace

Can an out of stater find R4 right now? I was in CO last June and was seeking out a bean or two (as their claimed numbers piqued my interest), and from what I encountered, Greenwerkz was out of both seed and cuttings. Are any co-ops/dispensaries in Colorado carrying it now? It'd be nice to see those genetics make it to WA state.
I haven't heard of any R4 beans for sale from Greenwerks for a long time now. That's where I got my 3 fem seeds. Only 1 seed survived through germination and ended up being a keeper. A lot of people were complaining about germination rates that's why Greenwerks hasn't released any seeds lately. I know that HomeBrew420 at 14er Hollistic Genetics in Boulder has these seeds R14er its a selfed R4. His plants look exactly like mine with the same leaf deformity so I know he has the real deal.

tikun olam in israel is doing lots of studies right now, and they have a few strains called Avidekel and Rafael which tested high CBD and low THC. Low as in 1% THC. check them out. just search in google tikun olam cannabis. I follow them on Instagram. I believe CBD crew has one strain called Therapy that tested .5% thc. Not sure what cbd content is. I've seen a picture on instagram of therapy and the nugs looked pink. cool stuff.

I never said THC-A isn't beneficial. I said it's not psychoactive.

Same applies for CBD. It is very beneficial both heated and not. I have a couple patients that I make a non-activated CBD coconut oil for, and the results are fantastic for both of them.
how do u make your coconut oil non activated out of curiosity^? thanks
