Hi guys. I've already read several FAQ but i still dont get how long do you keep the wire on the Plant in LST traing ? Because i'm afraid that if u keep it too long you may "hurt" the plant in the zone were the "tie" is ?

Thanks in advance !:joint:

Not sure I understand. I use twist tie type stuff. What I do is create a "U" on one end and slip it around the stem. The. I carefully tighten the tie on that end, making sure there is plenty of room for stem to thicken. I then pull it from the plant, not the tie, to where I want it and attach the other end to side of the pot.

Hope that helps!

I go to Home Depot, but a bunch of those metal pins for sprinklers and bend them into a U shape and stick them in the soil. You have to leave them indefinitely in most cases, but you will need to reposition them as the plants grow.

You leave them tied down during the whole grow, you may have to move them as god here says.

Don't make sharp or tight bends, more like a shepherds crook. I opened a few of mine up once I realized the plant was knotting around the wire. Like a tree or most other plants, it will adapt and continue growing. I use paperclips with a coating/sleeve.

Leave them on. Make adjustments as necessary.
