Low ph

So I fed my plants today they are in fox farm ocean forest I took a ph and ppm reading from the runoff my ph was 6.1 that seems pretty low I was thinking about getting some ph up , do I just get it and wait till they dry all the way out again and then add with watering or use right away thanks

Ocean forest is rich in organic nutrients which feed microbial life that buffer soil naturally. I don't ph at all but when I used liquid nutrients I wouldn't start phing until my soil had been depleted of nutrients and I had to use liquid. The organics in fox farms doesn't technically feed the plant it feeds the microbes ( mycorrhizae ) around the root zone ( rhizosphere ) liquid nutrients are readily available for plant consumption and doesn't cater to the microbial life so you have to ph to keep soil at a good ph level for plant nutrient consumption.

She looks like she needs some flowering nutrients. What ph have you been giving? And as mentioned nutrients used and frequency used

I was giving it grow big but since it’s flowering I’ve been giving it tiger bloom a little less then the recommended dosage every other watering which is about once a week I let them dry out real good before I water agin gave it some cal mag last time aswell

Look into cha ching, beastie blooms and open sesame, for added flowering nutrients. When I used liquid nutrients ( those aren't liquid but they are apart of liquid nutrient feeding schedule) but when I used them I would feed one of those 3 once a week alone with no other nutrients. Then based off the plant I would either go feed/feed/ water with tiger bloom and big bloom on that second feed. Or I'd feed water feed. As a stand alone those three blooming nutrients listed will be less than that recommended amount i think it's around 600ppms but that's fine as they are so high in p and k ( phosphorus/potassium)


I stopped calmag week 3 or so during flower. Once they complete their stretch they basically stop growing up and start concentrating on buds

I’ve been giving tap water ph of about 6.7
