Low Night time RH %.. but good during day

Hey guys... I've got my daytime temps/rh dialed... 73-77 degrees w/ a 47 %- 50 % RH... passively pulling 250 + CFM 24/7 through the room constantly...

It's arid here and at night when I am not running the Humidifier I go down to 25 % rh....

If I run the humidifier at night I am at 60 + % humidity... (which I do not want to do by any means).

Are there any known adverse effects to dropping humidity to below 30 % during night time? I'd really like to do this.

My humidity gets low in the winter months and I have never had any problems. If you have the choice of very low or a little high I would recommend the low end. With 63% RH at night you are begging for powdery mildew and boitritis.

use a small ceramic heater or seedling mat to maintain temp in grow area. as temp decreases, RH increases. get rid of temp difference and its solved. imo

The fans are exhausting though... so if I do not add water via humidifier to the air the room dries out (the ambient air is in the 15-20 % rh range)

If I do add humidity to the room ( on humidifiers lowest setting) I am up in the 60++ % range...

Does that help clarify the situation at all?

My temp is only swinging about 10 degrees in from highest to lowest temperatures.

15-20 won't cause noticable problems. What will lack of humidity cause? What will 60+ cause? It's good to want everything perfect but some people worry about the wrong details. You're gonna be way better off with LOW humidity.
