Low Budget Soil Mix

I already Got 4 grows on atm but they are reaching the end of there Flowering stage ( no camera atm so no grow journal )

but im starting a new grow and too my surprice i dnt have as much money left as i thought i got one bag of miracle grow Compost Left over from my last grow anda half bag of perlite, i wondering if there is anything else that is cheap tht i can mix in with the soil to give it tht lil bit of extra life

please dont use the whole 12-16-12 way of doing it i dont understand it for shit but like 1 cup of this and 2 cups of tht would be a perfect way of explaining it to a dumb dumb like me

Any Help Would b fine but i have had alot of problems with my other 3 plants and Soil so im gonna do this thing properly this time but for the lowest price possible

what the hell is that? and i dont mean to sound like a noob but what are those round redy brown balls that peopleput ontop of the soil?!?!?!

i cnt remember the name of te things something to do with clay i think :S

verm is vermiculite and the balls are hydroponic clay balls
