He didn't say it was hard, unless you read something I didn't? What he did say although, was where do these samples come from? Will the director of the website be issuing you these samples to test since he's not paying you to write? Or, are you responsible to write for free & buy the strains to test? At least that's the way I took it...

Good to see the RIU community has a sense of humour.

Further details of the positions will be discussed in private with interested parties. As much as I would love to be paying all of the editors for their contributions from the beginning it's simply not feasible. We are of the passion variety and although have big aspirations and a structured monetization plan, there is really no funds right now. Most of the work so far has been done voluntarily by members of the staff that know their hard work will be more than rewarded when we're live and revenue exists.

Anyhow, those of you not interested in contributing unless it's a paid position, one can completely understand that point-of-view and it's fine. But that's no need to take a shit on the thread or anything. There are some quality writers who are just interested in contributing for the cause or what have you, some of whom are right here from RIU.

Looking forward to hearing from anyone else interested in contributing!

it is unpaid. who wants to spend their time on something that they aren't getting paid for and isn't growing into something where they will eventually get smething out of?

we can just make our own blogs, we know about blogger.

This is all but a waste of time.

Since posting this thread I've had the opportunity to network with a handful of people here from RIU, some of whom will be a perfect fit for the writing positions. Been a pleasure just talking with a few of you and I'm sure good things are to come with us working together.

Anyhow, I hope everyone has a very Happy Easter!
