Lots of white pistols, but no actual bud.. Normal?

I have a few Lowryder 2's under a 600w HPS on 24hr

I am on approx day 35. So about 30/35 days to go

There are lots of bud sites and lots of white pistols. But i see no actual bud! Is this normal? This is my 1st grow so any advice is appreciated.

How does it work? Do the pistols merge to create the bud or will the bud grow seperately at some point?

you will soon see buds around the white pistols dont worry. but you say they are on 24 hours light?? they are flowering they should be on 12/12 you say 30/35 days left so u must be flowering mate

yes defo in the flowering stage. i'm using lowryder seeds which are autoflowering and can be kept on a single light sked for entire life of plant.
unless yu know better? would i benefit dropping to 12/12 at this stage? is there a danger of shock/trauma/stress to my girls?

ps the bulldog is like a home away from home for me! love that place! havent been in a few months tho:( you been recently?

Your plants look fine. No reason to switch to 12/12. Those white pistils will keep popping out and gradually create your "buds".

sorry mate my bad i didnt realise they were autoflowering yeh keep them just as you are doing i think its recomended 18/6 but only reccomended just keep as you are doing. i went to the bulldog in feb wanna go bk again soon. cant get better than amsterdam!! :) iv not done autoflowering yet might have to give them a try. i veg using cfl then flower using hps dont think i could afford over 12/12 using hps though lol

hey i reccomend them 100% you can grow a photoperiod plant for 10-13 weeks while the autos grow and bloom then swich to 12/12 for the photo using all of your lights on the few plants. and harvest a crop when you have just finished veg, its like a bonus crop!! :D
you can harvest upto 2 and a half Oz per plant

You could switch them down a bit from 24 hours though, maybe 18/6 it'll cut down a bit on heat and $$ if those are a concern for you. And if you plucked one of those groups of pistols off and dried it you'd see there's probably a little bit of buds in there. They do get bigger and you'll so more grow on top of the existing ones as time goes on. Especially for the days after you fertilize
