lost my seed in a soil

hello , sorry for my unadvanced english still learning,
I planted my seed directly into the soil and lost it after that i tried to search it twice but couldn’t find it. is it worth waiting?.

If it's underground and the soil is moist, I would wait a week or so for it to just sprout up.

It can be hard waiting for the seeds to pop up, but if you go digging around trying to check on it you're likely to do more harm than good...

I did the same with an outdoor pot and it sprouted out of nowhere.

Like Harley said, get the plastic off of the cup and just leave it be. If you need to you can mist the soil to prevent it from drying out every few days but it can take 3-10 days for seeds to pop when planted straight to soil. If the cup feels light you can water gently with a syringe or turkey baster until it's saturated. They don't need much water until they develop a decent root mass,
