Losing that bright green look while drying.

Please tell me how these look. I posed them next to a still half wet nug of nice green Blue Cheese for color reference. The three nugs below are dry. Why am I losing this bright green hue, is it normal, and do these look good? Thanks

You actually aren't losing any green it's just the trichomes turning from their frosty milky color to an amber brownish color, and as they do that they curl in, coating the bud. The more of this the better so those are some nice looking nugs

that's actually not true, he is losing green and thats also not true about the trichomes. The chlorophyll in the plant tissue is breaking down hence why they arnt as green, and the trichs dont change much color after harvest. Thats why people specifically harvest plants before trichomes start turning amber/brown because when they do turn amber the high isnt as much of a heady high.

My mistake I guess I was mis-informed

What method are you growing. I find that hydro grown stuff stays bright green even after cured.

Organic in soil outdoor. This stuff I put outside too early and it went into flower right away. Pulling between 1 and 2 ounces off per plant. Still have a couple more finishing up. Might get less than an ounce on a couple. It's flowering at a bad time right now too but seems to be alright besides the small yield. My last harvest was much greener but it was tiny loose buds. Still figuring things out.

Thanks, I had started drying indoors because I thought it was drying too fast in the garage. I think I'll move what's left to dry back out to the garage now.
