This is my second dwc so still real wet behind the ears but feel like I've learned a lot and still learning. My first went off pretty easy for the most part so I figured do the same thing and it should be a good grow. WRONG!! Nothing but root problems! I have not found any light leaks and I've tried to take care of any possibility of light leaks. Rez water is low 60s. I've tried sterile, and bennies and it just kept going. Never were the roots slimy or smelly but something was going on. I'm not sure I'm out of the woods but things have gotten better and she is trying to make up for lost time I think because it's like a growth explosion. Just wish I knew what the issue is so I can prevent it. I could have just culled and started over but the investigative scientist in me wouldn't let me. So I nursed it along just to see if I can get it thru. Don't give up is the moral to the story. Hope everyone is having a great day and awesome grows. 16201014960126614450113721636340.jpg16201015404929209173367163790188.jpg

I had a 13 gallon rez with two 4 inch air stones powered by a 793gph air pump. I figured that was enough cause the water looked like it was boiling. I ended up switching to a 5 gallon bucket with the same two air stones and thats when it started getting better. Do you think there wasn't enough air in the 13gal.??

I’d say so. A plants roots will be healthiest with all the O2 they need, healthy roots will have better natural defence & can heal damage quickly making it harder for rot to set in. Problems hate an ideal growing environment

I guess a Meter that measures D.O. is the only way to know for sure. I'm guessing those are expensive asf tho.

From the looks of the plant it doesn't seem to have any problems.. Need to see the roots to comment on any apparent problems there.. They aren't expressing any on the top side..

The main reason I didn't cull her is because she always stayed green. The fan leaves suffered cause she was locked out but mainly she was just stunted and droopy on top. I ended up pulling all dead roots all that was left were a few thick ass roots. Now she has a huge white root ball and is drinking a half gallon a day
