Looks like LED finally surpasses CFL and is now ON PAR with HID

The key is to make sure your LEDs are 1,2 or 3, watt units
not the cheap older stuff, or even new stuff from ebay.

I guess HID cant reign supreme forever, technology will always improve.

The penetration is getting better too, ive seen a LED unit 420w panel
that penetrated better then a 400w HPS at a headshop. blew my mind.


But the LED panel was like.... $2000 :O wtf

untill price comes down HID will still be the way to go i guess.
but if u consider reduced energy cost and reduced energy for
your FAN system, it eventually pays for itself... but $2000... shiet.

and if your experiance is with a cheap panel, ebay panel
or panel with sub <1watt LEDs or older then 2 years. those panels sucked/suck. new panel experiance only plz.

Where in that post was an insult to another light, find it and ill remove it.

If you read it properly, its asking for people with experiance using it to give some details.
