Nice yield man! More than 10% is good. How does that machine work? Do you put all the bags in it then it just agitates it? I just use an electric egg beater and 5 gallon buckets..

If that is what it does I think I have a brainstorm here. Take an old washing machine, take out the center plastic thing in there and rig the drain to go into a receptacle of some sort, or pumped back into the top... Then you just need some good 15 to 20 gallon bubble bags... Or just buy the little machine :P What size is it - 3 gallon?
there is one bag that has large mics. i think it's 70. you put the trim in that bag. that bag goes in the washing machine. it's like a bag for fine linen. the machine "washes" the trics out. there is a drain hose. using the hose you just drain the water thru your bags. it removes all the trics without breaking the leaf up.

yes you can use a washing machine. you need to make some kind of bag to hold the trim though. i can order extra ones but they are 75 dollars just for the bag. the machine was close to $300 after shipping and what-not. i can get a brand new full sized machine at home depot for $350. using the same principal it will work just fine. you can keep the agitator in the machine. it will help. i wouldn't use a used machine though. i would assume it would have nasties in it.

Thanks for the explanation of how that machine works... I have seen them before but didn't understand. You are right about using an old washer too - I hadn't thought of all the crap that could end up in my hash... They have mini washers like this .9 Cu. Ft. Capacity Pulsator Portable Top Load Washer (Color: White)

cheaper at my local Lowes for $260 I am really thinking about picking one up. But for today I will use the egg beater - now off to get some ice.

all done. not bad for 4 hours of WORK. :blsmoke:

and that's all dry and ready to smoke is it? Looks AMAZING!! I thought you would have to let it dry out longer after scraping the bags, before pressing. 4 hours well spent I reckon.

I'm SO jealous! Gonna go through all my trim tomorrow and see if I have enough to justify trying this out. If not, I'll just make some honey oil instead:mrgreen:

i have secret methods. it has a lot to do with how dry the trim is and how much water you press out before you start working it into a ball. i squeeze all the water out as i work it together in my palms. it hurts. i've actually caused blisters on my hands from extensive pressing.:blsmoke:

What's a few blisters when you have over 2 oz of the finest, hand pressed bubble hash. So very, very lovely! ENJOY!!!!

fdd you need to make a video. Trying to read what you had to do in those 4 hours would make me tired.
