Help us out here. What do you bring to the table? What are your salary and benefit expectations?
I have excellent people skills. Maybe that does not reflect over a computer. Salary wise, I am looking to start from the bottom since I am new to the industry. I am looking for full healthcare and I am willing to travel around the Country to help the business flourish in any way it needs.

Questioning your willingness to relocate since Trenton 90 minutes is a no go. Need to be more specific. Saying that you have people skills is not the same as training. What training have you completed recently?

I did not say "Relocate", I said "travel", there's a big difference.
Also travelling 3 hours a day for work is less than ideal, and there will be many dispensaries opening up that will be much closer to me.
Training regarding cannabis has only been watching youtube videos and looking up companies who sell seeds and Fertilizer equipment. I have also been looking at cannabis stocks as well.
Is there any specific Certification I should obtain? I am not looking to go back to a 4 year college as I am pretty old already and don't want to have to pay more dues than I need to

I get it. Travel as in expense account business trip. Self-taught is an admirable quality but formal training qualification is part of the screening process. Not sure in NJ but a budtender certificate here is $500. Course outline covers cannabinoid system, cannabis law, dispensary retail operations.

you think these jobs are gonna pay you lots of money? that's what the people working here in CO thought too. you think being a "budtender" is glamorous? LOL. you got lots to learn, kid.

good luck! you're gonna need it.
From here in the Coachella Valley, I have to agree with you. When I got into the grow side of the industry, I have to say that I had a completely different idea of what it would be like. I went in there thinking I was gonna be immersed cannabis guru knowledge from all sides, but what I found was the opposite. A bunch of youngsters and the majority of the workers have never grown weed other than at scale. If you’ve grown for 7-10 years, you will be one of smartest guys, if not the smartest guy in the room.

Pay? When I grew for Rove, via a company called Dr. Robbs, I was paid $17 hr., at Bodhi Plant Science, 18 hr. When I was promoted to lead pruner, I went to $20 hr.

I Didn’t learn more about growing, but when I was in Post Harvest I learned a shit ton about proper drying and curing, at least at Dr. Robbs.
