Looking for tips on my first crossbreed

Hello, a friend of mine has a very special cut of Panama which has pink hairs and the tips of the calyx have a "pink tip" not the whole calyx, "just the tip" lol. Anyways, it looks very pretty and it's a very pleasant sativa. I would like to cross breed with a Purple Haze. What I am looking from you, the reader, is to check over my below method and let me know if theres any improvements to be had.

Plan of Attack:
1. Get clones from Purple Haze. Keep a Purple Haze Mother
2. Spray STS on Panama clone, collect pollen.
3. Pollinate Purple Haze Clone with Panama Pollen
4. Take 5 clones of the crossbreeds and flower out 5 Purple haze x Panama Clones and find one that has pink hairs, we will call it PP1. I will then destroy the other clones and keep the winner from the 5 that displays pink hair.
5. Now that I have my winner Purple Haze x Panama clone I will take Original Purple Haze's pollen and pollinate her. (Backcross)
6. I will take 10 clones, flower 5 and look for pinkys. If I have a 80% pink rate ill be stoked and wont have to do cubing.
7. if only 70% are pink, i will likely backcross them again to increase odds of that trait. Also known as cubing if im correct.

First attempt, im not looking to become the next cool guy just doing this to customize what i wanna smoke on the daily lol

If the Panama has the pink tips, I would think backrossing to the Panama would bring more pink. Also, the pink trait may be recessive and harder to find. Since your talking fem seeds, why not create the F1, go thru the desired females and create an F2?Or even an S1 of the keeper F1? So to not lose the best of both strains

What I mean is, create the F1 between Purple Haze x Panama, then with the progeny, make F2 between the best sisters. It would be the second generation of Purple Haze x Panama.

Or, take 2 clones of your best F1, and pollinate one clone with the reversed clone. You'll have a selfed version of your pink-purple haze.

I wish I had a photo. This shit is like NEON pink. Never seen it before. It even had pink and purple trichs

Colorful strains are just that. Colorful. The color really adds nothing and in fact some feel it takes away. I've grown some very colorful strains and am always happy to find that pheno that is green because it's usually better than the colorful plants. Pink pistols while nice to look at while the plant is growing bring nothing to the table.

That's fine. Like I mentioned it's for me. Thats what I want. The bud structure and the pink of panama in my purple haze. Please offer tips on breeding. No more bashing on me because of a trait I want

My intention was not to bash. I'm no stranger to colorful cannabis. From my experience the green is usually better. That was all I was trying to say.

I can agree since the "true" purple haze is actually green, not purple at all. However I wanted to play and have the main cola with massive satellite cola structure of a panama with the psychedelic effects of p haze. I hope the hairs are neon pink as well. Should be fun.

And I've tried wacky colors like sweet seeds dark devil and fastbuds lsd25 and they're tasty but nothing soecial
