Looking for reliable information on the strain Pineapple Express #2 by G13

Hi,
I'm looking for a strain which gives me a high yield and a short time till harvesting. Found the strain Pineapple Express #2.
G13 gives the following informations:

Pineapple Express by G13 Labs Seeds is impressive but here we are with improved version of this amazing plant. Highly resistant to moisture and perfect for hostile climates. The undisputed hallmark of Pineapple Express #2 is its quick flowering stage (45-50 days) what makes it available to be cultivated anywhere and by anyone. Its flowers are big, bulky and covered with resin. The maximum height is 2.5m and production of 900-1300g/plant and 700g/m². This Indica dominant variety has taste of lemon, pine and spices.

Could't find any good grow reports and only sparse information in the strain databases.

So how good yielding and reliable is this plant (especially when using it for SOG)?

Good luck with anything from G13 labs being what you expect.
The PE was released then bred so it could be released with the movie.

Because like I said they are un trusted.

Ive run the blueberry gum years ago and it was nothing like either, was more between bigbud or NL . All my old albums have disappeared so I can't find pic's.

If you want to find large dank buds look for a

mobydick hybrid or mobydick from one if the Spanish seedbanks (Dinafem, Zambeza, RQS)

Mazari skunk from DP or Seedsman indica with large yield and very liked.

C99 from female seeds (probably what pineapples express was in its first year)
Pineapple and other tropical fruit phenos that is a favourite of mine and many others. Any C99 seed is good though.

My next fast sweet variety is going to be seedsmans blueberry x C99 fast (not auto) because both genetics have a good pedigree.

Something i do is look at the pedigree more than the seed. More so if it is one you find hard to find feedback on.
If the pedigree are proven then normally so is the seed.

Don't know much about #2, but I have a pretty good pheno of Pineapple Express #1 from G13. I didn't pop the seed myself, it's actually a cut I got a few years back from a fellow grower who ran an entire pack and got very lucky with this pheno I guess. Tough plant, medium height, fat dense buds with a tropical fruit taste & smell, and good potency that lifts you up and doesn't put you to sleep afterwards. Nice mix of indica/sativa high. Mine needs at least 58 days to flower though. About 58 - 63 days is the sweet spot. I don't have any close up plant pics, but here's what it looks like cured.




Other than this though, I would have to agree with canna_420 on G13's genetics based on my experience. Very hit and miss depending on what you run. In the past I've ran g13's gigabud, white widow, blue cindy, C99, and super skunk all with mixed results. None were terrible strains, for the most part they were all worth the time it took to grow them, but none were long term keepers for me. Certainly nothing I'd run in a SOG setup. Super Skunk was a pretty good strain that my patients liked so I kept it around for a few runs but eventually I phased it out to run other strains that were more potent and finished a bit quicker. Also, I'm actually vegging out a Blueberry Gum right now (freebie seed) and at 5 weeks it sure does seem like a NL. Even smells a bit like one. Damn, lol.

I've also ran C99 from female seeds and can confirm that it's a very good strain for a SOG. Great for outdoor grows too since the buds are fat but not too dense so they aren't prone to mold. Mine smelled like berries, tasted like grapefruit, and finished in about 55 days. It wasn't the most potent in my grow but it was still in the top five requested out of about 12 strains. Definitely at the top of the list for taste/smell though. I lost my mother plant to a coordinated attack on my greenhouse by spider mites & powdery mildew a few years back in what I now call the battle of 2014. I chopped about 90% of my grow that year and started over from seed.

Currently my patients all mostly prefer the fruity/sweet strains so for those types of strains I'm running:
Pineapple Express & Blueberry Gum (aka NL I guess...) - G13
Glueberry OG - Dutch Passion
Grape OX - Rare Dankness
Chocolate Mint OG, Blueberry Headband - HSO
Goji OG - Bodhi
Fruit Slap - Europa Seeds (seedling)
Girl Scout Cookies - Aurora Winds Botanical (seedling)

What has that big glass been before?

A caretaker, but I tell everybody I'm a pharmacist. That jar looks like that because it has resin and bud residue stuck to the inside. It's my personal stash so I keep refilling the same jar lol.

Hay man I grew the PE#2 outdoors last season was late to put her in but was impressed with her real sticky great smoke to heavy in the head

Must of been about 6-8oz but she went out a month later than the rest was a freebie from attitude mates got the original PE from G13 going now keep you posted how that goes if any different from #2

I just purchased one seed of Pineapple Express 2 from attitude seed bank and it just sprouted bout an inch high. Will inform you on what she can do. It will probably be a few months. But I appreciate everyone on here giving reviews of them. I was looking for something extremely fast in flowering without sacrificing quality. Hope that’s what I get lol.
