Thank you boss, I do appreciate all the help I can get on here, being a novice and all. Unfortunately, I fucked them; they have passed. I went to the grow shop and picked up some Jiffy cubes and plopped em' in there. They did ok for about a day and then started to droop severely and fade away. I don't really have the proper setup for clones at this time, but possibly sometime in the future I'll be able to root some clones correctly.

if it makes you feel any better, theres a 95% chance that someone just said it was GSC, and you didn't get the real thing. One guy sells a few fake GSC clones, and then those people think they have the real ones and start trading it to others, they trade it to others, etc, etc.
Go to home depot and buy some peat pellets and rooting powder. Shouldnt cost more than $10. Throw them shits under a dome or inverted tupperware container and return in 2 weeks to find roots.

Well just ask yourself, where did you get your cherry pie clones? Craigslist? Budtrader? a dispensary?
The reason I said what I did is because there is no standardization in this industry. Do you think just because you buy AK47 at a dispensary, it's actually AK47? The vendor could have made up a name for his bagseed. The dispensaries can also change names on bud that isn't moving fast enough. It happens more than you might think.
Also, in regards to making your own GSC, It might be the same cross, but it's those seeds arent going to come out the same as the real GSC cut.
Not trying to hate, I'm just being realistic. Names mean way too much in this game, and without any standardization, people can and will take advantage of that.

I just did a run of clones from a blue Hawaiian. I use rockwool and rapid rooters. The rapid rooter worked twice as fast, that's all I'm using from now on. The ones in the rr started growing new leafs before the ones in rockwool even rooted. I'm not bullshitting, twice as fast.

just make sure you get the tray inserts for the RR's if you get em. Those fuckers will fall over left and right if you dont

did you pre ph the rockwool cubes? i soak mine overnight in 5.3 water with clonex...
they gave me a sheet of oasis cubes at the grow shop...anyone use them before?

oasis cubes are the shit! already ph'd and cost about half as much as any other cubes. i use em all the time, no complaints.

Nope, and that's why. It had been a few months sence I did any cloning. I didn't check the book, just did it off memory. Set the PH at 6.5 and soaked them, then 5 minutes later put the cuttings in. 100% success but the rockwool ones took 2 weeks to root. My book clearly states to soak them for 24 hrs in a low PH water. I should have check the book, won't make that mistake again. The clones I told you about in the other thread are doing good, didn't PH the water at all, straight out the tap. I'm using solo cups, filled with sunshine mix #4, rapid rooters, and two clear food containers and it's working.
they are about a week old, I really don't give a shit if they live or not. I was cutting them off anyways, just figured I'd try something a little different and it seems to be working.
