Looking for opinions on my first grow

Hey everyone, this is my first post and first grow so I wanted some opinions on harvesting. 8 weeks since 12:12 and 7 weeks since first hairs appeared. Should I harvest now or wait longer?

Not ready yet. could harvest next week or wait 2 more weeks. Just depends on the high you want.

Heathly girl OP, nice work not overfeeding. Lots of fresh pistils, try going another two weeks. Keep her heathly and buds may fatten up more. Check trics every few days, you should see newer clear trics popping up as current trics continue to age. You'll probably have a good percentage of amber but will also have plenty of fresh trics to balance things out.

Have patience with the popcorn buds, harvesting is a pain in the ass and the popcorn buds will have you going cross eyed. But.. They're there so you gotta appreciate em..

Thanks for the responses guys! It's great to be able to confirm some thoughts I had. I will give her another week to see how the buds develop.

Any opinions on chopping the top colas and giving the lower sites another week or so to develop more? I think it could really increase my yield.

It's def an option, and your girl looks healthy enough to continue producing. If you do, chop before lights on, and clear/move vegetation that prevents full exposure. A heathly plant will keep pushing. What you lose is buds not attached to long stems which can help take things to a 7-10 day dry

Its always so temping to take em down because they look so huge compared to the few weeks before but there looks to be a fair bit of pistil retracting to go and plenty more swelling. They can really pack on weight in the next two weeks. It will make a huge difference to the overall density.

Excellent plants and excellent pics, you're definitely on the right track. The advice you're getting above is right on, 1 - 2 weeks for the most mature buds would be ideal.

Same thoughts here. Have patience and go for the best possible smoke you can get. Nice job !!

Thanks again everyone, the compliments are great. Patience is definitely key. I can post an update when she is finished if anyone is interested. I've already noticed the buds getting bigger!!!
