looking for help window sill stealth grow

growing under 12 12 winter conditions in ont canada...soil from an indoor plant, apparently the soil was from outside so the mix is topsoil with wood chips and perlite. i dont know anything about nutes so i dont use any, but i water with rain water i hear it has good ph...any advice for things i could do to make this grow better with a few bucks for a budget?

Your not using nutes and only using winter sunlight? I'm in michigan which
is pretty close & it's usually really gray. not much light.

rain waters ph is always differnet in different ares and time of year alot of rain water is acidic so check the ph of the water and fox farm is a good cheap fertilizer,

i got no ph strip what should i go with rain or tap or possibly bottled water if i have no choice in a ph test...

well if u have been using rain water and the plant is still nice and green then it should be fine, and most the your sink water will be fine just let the water sit in a 1 gal jug or whatever size for 24 hours with the lid off so the chlorine and other stuff will come out of it making it healthier for ur plant u got any pics

i just started germing the seeds and i pre watered my cups so im just waitin for the seeds to pop

oh ok, then u should really get a ph tester this is what i use its about 5 dollors here at my local shop directios an everything is on back, also ive never had probs with ph using this cheap tester

and yes bottled water if no ph tester when i use store water i buy spring water dont know the ph but it worked for me id still let it sit for 24 hours with no cap on though

update

i had a brainwave i attached some aluminum foil on the back of my cups so sunlight can reflect off the back of the glass on my seedlings...also whe the light goes on and off in my room the plant will have some cover besides the curtain(a bedsheet pinned on the wall above the window). it just wraps around the cup i used an elastic on both...one seed is brown and red the other is a medium tan/brown color the red brown seed looks crzy! its big too i wannasee its bud

cant wait for those two to pop and i can plant them just in time for x mas

i dont know how well ur plants will flower do to low light in winter u should think about ettin some cfls for extra light it helps a lil bit an their cheap

im thinkig about making a small cab for extra light with about 40-50 watts of cfls just 13ws from around the house
