Looking for first hand experience with ac infinity products

So this might be lengthy.....

I recently purchased an ac infinity 3x3 tent. First of all because I liked the level of automation ac infinity provided at its price range. 2ndly because from what I could find online before I joined any forums were nothing but good reviews. I actually took a great deal of time comparing vivo sun, ac infinity and gorilla gro tents. And decided on the ac infinity in the end because of the ease of automating the tent to a certain degree. At a relatively nice price. I didnt buy a whole kit, I am piecing my own together.

Upon purchase the tent and light which I chose to buy first, I looked at ventilation and carbon filters. Then as I was looking around I started seeing really negative reviews on other websites about huge light leak problems and bad stitching, or holes ripped around the stitching. Nothing bad about how it performs just the quality of the fabric of the tent itself. So does anyone here have any ac infinity tents, how are they?

It should be here on Wednesday so if anybody here is also wondering about ac infinity I will be more than happy to provide high res photos, the light will be here tomorrow afternoon, its their 400w dimmable so if anyone wants to see that as well feel free. No bad reviews on any other products I've seen besides the tent. So theres at least a silver lining.

Thanks In Advance

People get really aggressive about defending AC infinity. I only own some back draft dampers of there’s so I cant comment much.

there is a few companies out there that I question. Is no one else concerned that all influencers are repping AC infinity gear? Oh but they have solo cup tent pole holders! Game changer…

Just to rile more people up…rain science. What’s their justification for 10x the price of a fabric pot? They last for a long time…sure of course they’re coated in plastic. They’re in all the influencers pockets. I’ve heard numerous podcast host read a script saying they don’t transfer disease or whatever. Well on their website they tell you to sterilize them with h202. I don’t think any material will host anything once it’s sterilized with h202.

To be honest, you obviously have a gripe with ac infinity, but it sounds like you've never used a product. Don't mean to be rude, but idgaf about what influencers say. I found the brand on my own. Did the research for myself and went with ac infinity. It wasnt reviews off just the website itself either, I got both good reviews off every place that sells them. There were some bad ones but overall it was one, 1 to 2 star review for every 30 to 40 4-5 star reviews which I consider good enough. I just want to see what people here on the forum have to say about first hand knowledge because some of the pictures attached to these reviews had me worried their qc is lacking.

I do like my back draft dampers! They added a rubber seal which is bitchin compared to what hardware stores carried.

I probably do have a chip on my shoulder so no offense taken. I’m not big on social media so I tend to dislike this whole influencer culture.

I would say, AC infinity gives me they vibe they care about their reputation (which is good) so I would reach out to the company and ask about a replacement.

I purchased a 6" fan and controller combo, it was supposed to have the 69 controller as advertised, and it didn't. Contacted customer service, and they shipped me the 69 controller and had it within 3 days. They were very good to work with, and the fan/controller setup works great for my setup, having many options and data collecting with the app is real nice.

Have uses their carbon filters. Work just as well as more expensive options. I've obly heard gokd things about their stuff. All tents will have pinhole leaks.
your right they do have pen hole this coming from some using a a/c 2x4 right now there really budget friendly tho I paid 120 out the door at a in person shop I got a question do you think the pin hole have a deep affect on yeild or qoulity I'm thinking of up grading what brands you guys thinking open to any opinions

I don't think it matters. My tents were in the same room as my veg, with lights on. I kept a blackout curtain to block most of the light, but it still reflected out quite a bit. Never had an issue. You have to remember the light inside the tent coming out of the pinholes is really bright, so a bit of ambient light from the outside will barely be visible. Ive had bigger issues from say a button in a fan, or a powerstrip causeing reveg issues. The plants arent as sensitive as many lead to believe, and if a particular strain is.....it's not qorthy IMO.

i have 2 s33 the 240w(actual 270). in flower now. veg was good with them, almost no stretch until i raise the lights really far away. flower is going well. almost at 3 weeks, good buds have formed on most of the plants. i haven't seen a grow that uses any of thet ACI lights.

You misunderstand, i havent gotten my tent, i was wondering if anyone on the forum had ac infinity tents, and if they had issues

Thats what im getting for my 3x3, i decided to upgrade everything in their 3x3 kit to the next size up, light, inline fan ducting and filter. I figured it be better to have everything be slightly more than i need in case I decide to upgrade in the future and use the tent for a mother

Paid $200USD in Dec. for a 8X4 tent and am pretty happy with it. Great zippers compared to Vivosun, but a bit of funky discoloration in the reflective material:

Also have 8 A6 Cloudray clip fans that are outstanding, if a little pricey. If you buy from their website, 10-15% coupons are easy to find.

Hmm that discoloration, is that something you are concerned with? Ive seen many mixed reviews about various tents but I havent seen stuff like this before

Not at all. And the quality of the zippers, especially compared to Vivosun, is outstanding.
Thats great because zipper quality was probably the 2nd complaint I saw most after my purchase. I saw most of the light leak problems around the zipper seams and controller port, the port im not worried about at all. But if theres larger holes around the stitching in the zippers thats more of a concern to me. While I don't expect to have much company at my new place when I move, its gonna be kind of obvious with smell leak from larger pin holes all over the tent. Not everyone I know is ok with cannabis usage especially the parents. And i dont want them coming over in the peak of flower and raising a bunch of fuckn hell, cuz they are the types that do that. Ever since I started using cannabis to manage my adhd, and recreationally my parents and I havent seen quite as eye to eye as we used to. That doesnt mean Im not gonna keep doing me lol.
