Looking for C-5

I've only found one place that has something called c5 and it didn't look familiar. I'm looking for a Sativa dominant strain that looks very similar to the old "SweetTooth" in bud structure but it's colors are different and potency is higher. It's a very racy strain that worked amazing for me. I don't want a cross as I want the original strain. Anyone heard of it or know anything that can help my search?

C5 is a nl5/haze selection made back in the day. If you had the original cut, you could make a living selling the clones. Many people want that cut but nobody seems to have it nowadays

Yea it was purchased around 2008. I honestly expected it to be available as a seed by now. I guess I was lucky to even get the bag. I got a bag of legit purple princess from the same grower if that helps. It just blows my mind how that one slipped away from mainstream. Maybe people where getting alot of anxiety, it's definitely one of those...

Thats awesome that you got to experience the C5! Haze varities are difficult to grow indoor because they stretch a lot and have an extended flowering time. That considered, I think that it’s still important for growers to keep these varities in the gene pool. Unfortunately a lot of good varieties have been bread out of existence for the purpose of indoor gardening in confined spaces.

Can you tell me more? C5 is a NL5/haze selection... Can you expand any? This was clone only? Was this more of a project of a breeder that labled this as c5 and maybe worked it forward?

All I know is that C5 is Northern Lights #5 x Haze C and “Haze C” was a male selection of haze that was made by Neville in the late 80's.

Mr. Nice sold “Nevilles Haze” seeds. Nevilles Haze is ((Haze x Haze) x NL5) x (Haze x Haze)

On the East Coast there’s always been cuts of “Piff” and some people think that Piff is possibly an NL/Haze selection.

I love smoking haze, most every haze has an uplifting effect that wont slow you down.

So finding that exact pheno I had is pretty unlikely if not impossible. So Ill have to try a cross. I think I just need to experiment more with hazes and sativas in general. I wish I knew exactly what is responsible for the uplifting effect as opposed to an Indica like bubba kush that chills me out.

Now we’re on the same level! I’ve had great success with Top Dawg and Piff Coast Farms seeds when it comes to haze/piff crosses, nothing but good experiences with both of those sources.

Have you ran any of the piff coast that’s up on his site right now? Black Kush, AJ’s Nevada and Black Hawaiian. Trying to decide on one

5c was just the original code nevil used use for the f1 nl#5 x haze c. The code was used for the whole seed line. So any cutting you can get hold of called 5c or c5 is most likely from f1 nl5 x haze c seed nevil made himself years ago and is very very unlikely to be his actual breeding clones
