Looking for advice

Hello everybody and thank you for Taking the time out to read this thread and hopefully comment and give me some help and or ideas. so I’m new to this and this is my first grow. I’ve been having my girls veg for 10 weeks now. I’m Growing in a 5 x 5 by 7‘ 11“ tent And I just flipped to 12/12 two days ago. I’m worried about the light stress on the plants because they’re just growing like crazy and almost touching my light. Weekend a friend is going to come over and help me read the light so it’s 4 to 6 inches from the top of the tent. I don’t want to kill my life and have the fans that cool it just blow at the top of the tent. I want to set up to use CO2 while I flower but I don’t know if I will because I don’t feel like I have that much space. Could I use a trellis net and bend parts of the plant so it’s leaning to the side so it’s not that close to the light? Or will that stress the plants out too much? I really don’t want to cut off from the top of the plant what is that my best option? Any ideas or comments are appreciated thank you.

Yes supper cropping!! or just cut off all those uneven tops.

Under that yellow line I see a nice even top plant ready for flower.

Always expect plants to AT-LEAST double in size from day 1 to day ~25 of 12/12.

If you have genetics that can't handle some strong light or a topping in flower, I'd suggest finding a better breeder. :) :)

Well, unless you are able to stick those outdoors you vegged too long.
Those girls will probably double in size after flower.
Either top or some MAJOR super-cropping.

Yeah outdoors isn’t an option unfortunately. Do you by chance have a link to videos on how to do either? if Not I’ll see what google and YouTube shows me.

Should I just go for it and cut that much off when they wake up tomorrow, or should I trim little by little?

I would. As a matter of fact, I just did. Just gave a few plants some major snipping. Just like those.

I know its no always possible, but it's best to veg based on size, not time. Esp. if you have space confinements.
