Looking for advice on grow

Hello everyone. I’ve been a lurking non-member of this forum for a couple of years and have finally decided to register to start being part of the conversations. Over the past few years I’ve been doing a growing regular feminised seeds in open soil and have had some good results in the past.

This year I decided to try out growing auto flowering seeds (northern lights) in pots (10 liters) with 1 part coco 1 part perlite and 2 parts compost. The plants are growing ok but don’t have that dark green colour I’m used to. Is this normal? Will they become darker later in the grow? I’m using Plagron algo grow to feed them.

Plant looks healthy. How dark green do you expect it to be?

Well if it seems healthy to you it should be ok. I have terrible memory from previous grows but looking at old photos they seem darker green. Could just be the lighting though.

I prefer a lighter green than dark.
But also take note, that a light under 3000k looks yellow, but as soon as u put it under 4000k it might look green.
Oh so you're growing outdoors.
I think a lighter green plant is probably easier to correct if you have problems than with a dark green plant (which was overfed).
If you look at a lot of commercial greenhouses be it tomatoes, or whatever, you'll notice its lighter green.

Don't quote me on this though, as there may be no scientific proof.

That’s an interesting comment. Puts it into a different perspective for me. I’ll keep an eye on the plants and post a few updates now and then. Thanks

Here’s an update. I also found some bugs under a leaf on one plant. Any ideas what they are?

Some strains are just darker

Looks fine. It actually looks like the top fans show slight N abundance with the clawing.
Youre not waiting for droop before water are you? That can lighten things up.
