Looking for advice on a small stealth grow

I've been on here awhile so I already know about all the budget type small grows. I finally got my own place so its bout time I enjoy my own harvest for the first time.

Adivce needed on:

Which do you think is the safest room to grow in my spot?

Advice on a small setup for personal use?

Now that you have the question on to some small details.

Bedroom closet has room for a 2x1.75x5 box/tent...but I really don't even wanna go that big. I'm thinking a small closet tent,rubbermaid box, or mini fridge stealth.

Bathroom has a powered exhaust fan which actually vents thru the roof. But I don't really wanna grow anything in the bathroom.

The room labeled dining room is actually a kitchen.

The room labeled kitchen is actually the storage/laundry room.

Laundry room stays around 82* because a water heater is in there. Not good temps for growing from what I remember seeing online.

I've been in this apartment months already to "get a feel". I smoke pretty frequently (bong/vape) and no one has ever complained...but I use methods to prevent the smell.

Also the landlord/maintenance hasn't come into my place this whole time so no worries there either.

2x1.75x5 is not too large. Use the closet.

You ought to be able to control access to it also.

Closets are the best bro. Peeps have no business being in there and they are tucked out of the way. I put an auto-lock on mine.

Here is my stealth closet for ideas. Odor is going to be your concern. Just keep it small and you should be alright.

Use the closet.
Even if you make or build a contraption smaller than the max size, it's still the best place to use. Making it light proof is the PITA, making it silent is worse, and making it smell proof is virtually impossible. Your neighbors might not know, but anybody in the room will either smell it or hear it, or both.

I've seen journals from PC cases, so you have plenty of room. 4X CFL's is "enough" for that size, or something bigger if you want more floor space than a PC tower. Something little like a Kessil H150 is good enough for one little lady(or small auto), and only pulls 31-37watts ... 1ft square and 2.5ft high, one little grow box with an LED mounted to the top.

Get this tent and put it in your closet.

You could get a smaller 4" fan but then you'd have to buy 6"-4" adapters from home depot. Getting the smaller one would make less noise. Or, you could buy a fan speed controller. The cheap on is $25 but produces a hum, a better one would be

For lights, it depends on how much more money you want to spend and what kind of results you want to achieve.

With a tent in the closet, it will at least let you have the closet door open a bit because the light would be contained. If you are putting it in a closet you need to think about how you are going to cool that... depending on which light you pick it could be easier or harder to cool. Do you live in a hot summer climate? Do you have central Air Conditioning in your home? If not then can you get a window unit for that room? Temps are a huge factor in your final product and if its 85-90 outside its gonna be pushing 100 in that closet.
