Looking for advice on 5x5x7 closet grow, HELP!

Hey guys,

So I've got a nice space in a walk in closet that I want to use. It's a 5x5x7 space, and ideally I'd like to throw in a sub-divider and do a vegetative and flowering level in the same closet. My thought was to put the subdivider at about 4.5 feet, hang a 250/400w HPS and use that level for flowering (of course keeping the plants short), and veg with CFL's on the top level. Do you think this would work, and would it be enough space and light for 8-10 plants?

I did 15 in a 5x5 under a 400 and a 125 cflwat the yeald wasn't as good as I wanted but I just do it for fun but I'd have to say run a 600 watt hps in the flowering room if u can and maybe like a 150 mh in the veg but if it's just something for u to smoke it will work just fine more light is always better if you can afford it and keep the temp down

Seems pretty tight to have a veg and a flower in there but you could do it no doubt....If you are new to growing i would consider just doing one crop at a time tell you feel out the situation and your grow...a 5x5 space with 1000ws could yield you 2 pounds a cycle if you got it under dial correctly and thats pretty good amount of weight for a closed grow brow keep that in mind thats all im saying

agreed. a 1k in there would be killer. just do it as a cycle and not a propetual grow.
