Yeah ...that is why is critical to get strains that are mold n mildew resistant ....give em a hood shake in the morning and you be good.

Freakin' poachers are an issue. It's a PITA to have people who think that because they grew up near your property, that they somehow have a right to hunt on it. It's never enough for them to just bang a deer and leave. They feel like they need to cut your locks off of your gates, trash your game cams, oh yeah....they steal your weed if they find it.

A guy in BC wrote a book Romancing Marry Jane about his failed attempt at outdoor growing. I find that reading about other people's failures can be as educational as reading about the success stories. IIRC I got it on Amazon. Worth the read.

My plan is to take the money earned from the first crop and fence in the property. Hopefully that will keep any wandering hunters at bay. It will pry be damn expensive but i think its neccesary to insure the security of the crop. Eventually i want a giant ass greenhouse i can lock up and follow the law completly. That just takes a ridiclous amount of money i just dont have yet

the problem up there is that people that live near by, will consider the land you buy as theirs. as stated above, they will tresspass, poach, and gank your grow. guarenteed. the deer, and rodents will destroy most of your crop, and you'll be working for the man forever. if you don't live full time on the property, this won't work well imo. northern michigan dullards are a nightmare. they have little work, and lots of time to make your life hell, and they do. i know. i've been hunting and fishing from gladwin to the to the northern lower, and everywhere is the same with this shit, just like hunting poachers.


edit....if you're a med grower, they just passed a bunch of new laws, including one that requires all outdoor plants be completly hidden, and unable to be seen from above or the ground. that means it has to be in a covered greenhouse to be legal, and that means living on the property to care for them daily.

I plan on a greenhouse. And i do plan on stayin up there a lot. I realized this is a lot to take on so i got myself a partner. One of us will always be there.

Alot of people will say to never partner up...if you are a bad judge of character. And a dummy then yes....good advice......I have had 5 different partners through the years..never a problem, am cool with em to this day...you know who u can trust n not to....good luck..

sometimes the funny thing about partners is people will try fuck things up between you.I ended up hating all my partners people who he still likes.I'm stilll ok with my x-partner just not his "peeps".It gets deep sometimes.Especially for the craziness that goes w/ the territory

Its a buddy from way back, a best friend. Ive trusted him with watching my crib already a few times. Hes the only one i can trust, well him and postedup610 from this site, my other best friend. Hes going to help too. I actually set a camera up in my living room one time, invitrd him over and left an lb on the table while i went downstairs to watch the moniter. Just to see if he would grab a handful or not. I like to play stupid to test peoples charicter and he has passed srveral times. He actually sold me my first sack when i was 14. Completly trustworhy.
