Looking for a Sativa dom strain

How did you find Kilamanjaro to smoke? At 10 weeks ish it sounds amazing from the description.

I have one of these critters in my outdoor bed now for the first time. 10-ft tall, moderate xmas tree branching, and thick, heavy buds that are susceptible to fungal infections. It won't finish before the end of Oct, so not a quick flowering strain. It may be a 9-10 week finisher, but it didn't start to flower until very late August. The buds I've taken off to trim off the rot give a strong, harsh vape, but that's without any curing. Nice chemical smell to the buds, though, so good potential.

I hope the weather is kind to you and you have a great harvest! Well cured, it was anything but harsh, I think you're going to love it. 10 weeks isn't bad for a landrace to finish. Have you tried the WOS Wild Thailand?

No, not bad at all. I want to do a run in hydro to see what it can really do. If one can control the botrytis and PM, it could be a killer strain.

Not-so-coincidently -- I'm on the hunt for THCV -- I have 2 x Wild Thai in my hydro right now. 4.5 weeks and flipped to 12/12 4 days ago.

Awesome! I like the cut of your jib. In the past, I've had much success inhibiting pm and botrytis with regular pretreatment sprays of Southern Ag biological fungicide (bacillus amyloliquefaciens) and chitosan. This was outdoors, but I will be using them both in my new indoor grow as well. Here are a few links of studies, but there has been much more research done on both. Chitosan: https://bsppjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/j.1365-3059.2010.02312.x and the bacillus: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4551870/.

Yeah, I've douched my girl with S Ag fungicide and 25 mM Ammonium Bicarb, and it's kept in semi-check, but I should have hit them in anticipation rather than remediation. The crap had already taken hold so now it's a constant, uphill battle. Next year....

Nice! That stuff is outstanding for prevention! I'm stoked about your Wild Thai...are you planning to have them tested for THCV?

I'm stoked as well. I've been on the hunt for 2 years and feel like the Thai might be it, so No plans to test -- I've had an unknown strain in the past that was high, so, Yeah! I expect I'll be able to tell -- but if/when I find something, I might have it tested just to verify.

Can anybody recommendation a Sativa dom strain that flowers fairly quickly like 9-10 weeks and yields heavy?

Night Owl and Mephisto make some great sativa dominant strains. They are autoflowers, but they go through their entire cycle in 75-95 days. I've seen yields in the 3-6 oz range per plant

I all for a real good trippy Cinderella 99, and I think it was BC Bud Depot that my cousins friend grew. It was just the most trippy, colour popping and chocolate craving strain I have tried. It was just perfect for Avengers: Infinity War 3D, followed by Fantasia 2000 on my 106” projection screen. Some of the 3D depth just got so intense for me (Thor ship in space is what really got me) Been searching for that same high ever since for my movie watching and a Blue Cindy from G13 Labs is the closest I’ve gotten to that. Now I have always been mostly an Indica guy and now I await my Sour Diesel (BlimBurn) Crystal METH (Dr. Underground) Lennon (Pyramid Seeds) and my Malawi (Ace Seeds) to finish for my first real taste of a Sativa growing/usage.
