I am a total newbie to growing. I am in the middle of a grow right now. I have had a few go herm on me. I am growing bagseeds so that may be part of my problem but I know there are some hearty strains out there. I would like to hear people suggestions for good strains for a beginner preferably mostly indica.
thanks for input and suggestions, much appreciated

Kannabia Seeds has a really nice indica-dom called Mataro Blue. It's a relatively fast flowering plant (8-9 weeks) and is a great yielder of above average weed.

Easy to grow too. My journal link has documented grows of MB.

Stay away from straight kushes so ur skills might not provoke an easily herm strain due to stress..
Dinafem..check out their line.

female seeds has a lot of strains at super low cost, if I were you and didn't want to waste money I would go for them.

thanks for the replies. I have 4 lemon kush from them at 14 days from breaking soil. I hope they are good. I didnt look into anything before i bought them just got those and Greenhouse seeds "The Doctor" because they were cheap. also got a WW fem seed and 2 afghan reg as freebies. I hope i get good smoke of some of those.

Trainwreck was my first, easiest, and highest yielding strain. First two grows under cfl and one under hps until I lost my mother.

(Btw, cloning was a breeze)

i've never grown, but smoked some afghani, and man, i really hated the taste.. tasted like dirty that was smuggled out of the desert in a camel's hump ime..
Hahahaa yes ive also had this with certain afghans. But the right afghan kush or afgoo strains can be awesome and stoney, but they do tend to have the earthy taste some are better than others. I grew a ssh x afghan cross that was pretty amazing in yield, taste, smell, and ability to take/recover from excessive nutes.

I have read a few reports of lemon kush after reading this and I seem to see some great reviews. Not one was negative so, that to me tells me you are on the right track!

ETS Bubba 76 and Sensi Maple Leaf Indica are hearty growers.
Maple Leaf Indica is incredibly slow out the gate, just something to keep in mind if one decides to go IBL.

Solid indica without a trace of sativa. A great producer but I'm not sure she will be staying in my stable. She's done right around 8-9 weeks.
